Boat Day and Break Throughs

You woke up from JJ calling you. "Hey JJ" you say in a sleepy voice. "Hey Y/n uhh did I wake you?" He says. "Yeah but it's fine. What's up?" you ask. "The gang is going on the boat today and I was wondering if you wanted to come with us?" he ask. "Yeah sounds fun I'll be there in 30." you tell him. "Okay cool see ya soon, bye." he says. "Bye." you say.

20 minutes went by and you finished getting ready you have on a basic black bikini with jean shorts. Your hair is down and you added some braids in your hair. You grab your phone and beach bag full of everything you need. You run downstairs and put on your flip flops and grab your car keys. You get in your jeep and drive over to the chateau.

"Hey guys whose ready for boat day!?" you say walking in. "I am!" Kie says coming up to hug you. Everyone gets in the boat and your the last one to get in. JJ grabs your hand to help you in. "Thank you kind sir." you tell him in a british accent. "Your welcome ma lady" he says in the same british accent. John B starts up the boat and y'all drive until he finds a good place to stop and lower the anchor. "Let's go swim!" Kie says. As soon as Kie says that Pope and John B jump in. "Y/n you coming?" JJ ask you. "Yeah." you say taking off your shorts. JJ watches you as he admires how good you look. "JJ my eyes are up here." You tell him laughing. He nods and laughs a little out of embarrassment. JJ jumps in and you and Kie hold hands and jump in together. "The water feels amazing." you say as you wipe some of the water off your face. Everyone just swims and laughs until Pope starts to get thirsty. "I brought beer!" John B tells him. Everyone gets out of the water and John B tosses Pope a beer. "Y/n you want one?" JJ ask you with a beer in his hand. "I'm good." you say. "More for me!" JJ says laughing.

After a few hours on the boat you guys arrive back to the chateau. "I'm gonna head home but I'll see y'all tomorrow." you say walking out. "Bye Y/n." They all say to you.

You get in your car and drive home. You arrive and your mom and dad ask where you've been. "I went on John Bs boat and hung out with everyone." you tell them. "Okay you didn't drink did you?" your dad ask. "No dad I didn't." you tell him. "Good." he says. "Well did you have fun at least?" your mom ask. "Yeah I did." you tell her. "I'm gonna head up stairs and shower." you say. "Okay sweetie." your mom says.

Back at the chateau John B, Pope, and JJ are talking. Kie already left and went back to figure 8. "What's up with you and Y/n?" John B asking grabbing something out of the fridge. "Nothing is going on and plus you know the rules No Pouge on Pouge Macking." he tells him. "Oh please no one listens to the rule anymore. Have you seen Pope and Kie lately their bound to get together." John B says looking at Pope. "Uhhh t-th-theres nothing going on." Pope says defensively. "Yeah sure but that's not the point, JJ it's time to grow a pair and tell Y/n how you feel." John B says. "I can't you know how I am. When people get close I drift away and I can't hurt her like that." JJ says. "JJ you and Y/n have been friends for years she knows you and just start off slow." Pope tells him. "No I can't do it!" JJ says walking out to the backyard. "Should we go talk to him?" Pope ask John B. "Not us I'll call someone." John B says grabbing his phone. "Who?" he says while John B's phone is ringing.

Your sitting on your bed watching TV when your phone rings. "Hey John B!" you say. "Hey Y/n can you come over it's urgent." John B tells you. "Yeah, yeah I'm on my way." you say sliding on your shoes. You end the call and grab your keys. "Where do you think your going!" your mom says. "Sorry I'll be right back it's urgent." you say running out the door and driving off to the chateau.

"You called Y/n!" Pope says. "Yes and she'll be here soon." John B tells him. "Why did you call her?" Pope says. "JJ needs her here so they can talk." he tells him.

You arrive at the chateau and open the door to see John B and Pope. "Thank God your here!" John B says hugging you. "Uh yeah w-whats going on?" you ask him. "JJ needs you. He's out in the backyard laying in the hammock." John B tells you while pointing to the backyard. "Okay. What's wrong with him? Was it his dad again?" you ask. "No no no it's uhh...well you know how he is. Just talk to him. Please." John B says. "Okay." you say starting to walk out to the backyard. "I hope this works." Pope says looking at John B. "It will just trust me." John B says patting Popes shoulder.

I walk out to the backyard and see the blonde boy laying in the hammock. I first thought he was asleep but I get closer and see that he's clearly awake. "Hey J." I saw walking closer. "Y/n!? What are you doing here?" he says sitting up. "John B called and said something was wrong with you." you say. JJ shakes his head looking down. "Nothing is wrong with me so you can leave." he says still looking at the ground. "JJ i know you. You forget that I know you, now tell me what's wrong!" you say now getting a little aggravated. "I'm scared! Okay!" he says looking up at you starting to walk away. You run up to him and grab his arm forcing him to turn around and look at you. "What are you scared of?" you say now worried. "I'm scared to let you in and tell you how I feel!" he says while his voice sounds like he's about to break down. "Don't be scared J. Tell me what's wrong." you say. "Y/n I've had these feelings for you for awhile but I'm scared once we start getting closer if that's even possible I'll shut you out and you'll be hurt." he says now tearing up. "Oh JJ I had no idea you felt this way and even if you try to shut me out I won't let you. I'll always be here for you." you say pulling him into a hug. He hugs you pulling you in from your waist and your arms behind his neck. "I really like you but I just don't wanna hurt you." He says. "I know I know." you say pulling away from the hug. "Look we will start slow so things don't go super fast because I know that'll freak you out, okay." You say cupping his face with your hands. "Okay." He says sighing out of relief. You pull him in by his shirt and kiss him. He breaks the kiss and looks at you smiling. He immediately kissed you back. Y'all break away smiling at each other, knowing that this is the right thing to do.
