Im not leaving you

A/N: This is based on Season 2 episode 1 of Riverdale.

You and the pouges were all out having lunch. John B started saying something when JJ's phone rang. "Oh sorry guys I have to take this." JJ says. You look at him and nod. He gets up and walks a couple feet away from the table. He answers the phone. "This is deputy Shoupe we had a call in that there was a wreck and your dad was involved. He uhh he didn't survive. Everything of his is at Kildare Hospital for you to pick up. Sorry for your loss kid." Shoupe says. JJ doesn't speak. All he can do is drop to his knees and cries. You notice. "JJ? JJ!" you say running over catching Sarah, John B, Kie, and Popes attention. They run over to him behind you. You guys all surround him. "JJ what happened?" John B ask. "My dad..." is all JJ can say from him hysterically crying. He wraps his arms around you and cries into your shoulder. You rub his hair and look up at the pouges in disbelief and confusion on what is happing.

Y'all get in JJ's truck and drive over to the hospital to pick up Luke's items. The nurse ask him if he wants to see him and JJ says no. You understand why he said no because 1 his dad was an abuser to him and JJ is in relief that he won't be abused again but number 2 Luke is still JJ's father and he can't stand to see him in the condition he is in dead laying in a hospital bed. The nurse hands JJ his items that are put into plastic bags separately. "This is everything?" JJ ask. "That's all he had on him." the nurse says. He takes the bags and all of y'all walk out.

"I'm just going to go and drop of you guys off. I need to be alone right now." JJ says looking back at the gang. "Okay we understand." Pope says. JJ drops everyone off one by one until the last person is John B. "Call me if you need anything." JohnB says. "Will do brotha." JJ says. You are still in the passenger seat of JJ's truck. "Can I come back with you? I cant go home with you like this and my dad has been in a piss-y mood recently." you ask him. "Yeah sure." JJ says.

You guys arrive to JJ's house. JJ walks around the house knowing now it's just him there, alone. You see the upset look on his face. He goes to his room and since he wanted to be alone you go and sit on the couch. While JJ is in his room you decide to take Luke's clothes out of the bags. You lay everything out on the coffee table. 10 minutes later JJ comes out of his room. "Hey J." you say. "Hey." he says. Walking to grab a beer out of the fridge. "I took Luke's clothes out of the bags. I hope that's okay?" you say. "Where...where's his wallet?" JJ ask looking through the clothes on the table. "Umm...not sure. That's all that was in there." you say. "Maybe he put it in his coat?" JJ says looking in the coat pocket. It's empty. "Are you sure you didn't see it?" JJ ask. "I didn't. Maybe it's in his truck or back at the hospital?" you say. "No no this is everything they had. You heard the nurse." JJ says. "Okay...well worst case scenario it's just a wallet." you say. "Everything that is important to my dad is in that wallet. He doesn't go anywhere without it." JJ says. "Well for all we know it's in the truck." you say.  "Why did you even open the bags?" JJ says a little loud. "I thought...I wanted to help." you say. "No seriously. Why are we here?" he says. "Y/n I didn't ask you to come. I didn't want to come here." JJ says. You look at him silent. "Just forget it. Just go. I'll take care of this. I'll see you back at the hospital or I'll call you." he says sitting down. "You really want me to go?" you say with your voice breaking. "I do, yeah." he says. You give him one last look and start walking towards the door. You take a deep breath and turn around to look back at him. "I'm sorry no." you say. "What?" JJ says, his eyes glossy. "I'm sorry but I'm not going." you tell him. JJ is on the verge of tears and he's closing his lips together. "JJ you shouldn't be alone right now. You're angry and hurting and probably terrified. I know I am. So go ahead, yell at me and try to push me away but I'm not going anywhere." You say walking closer over to him to sit down right next to him. He wipes a tear away. JJ closes his eyes shut tight trying to hold his tears in. "You okay?" you say almost in a whisper tone. He shakes his head. You place your hand on his shoulder. He breaks down crying. You pull him in and he lays his on your chests crying. You wrap your arms around him.

A/N: This was sad but so good I think. I'm so sorry I have not made a story in over a week. I've just been so busy.
