"Are we in Texas yet?" TJ complained.

Jessica sighed. "We're about ten miles closer than we were when you asked a couple minutes ago."

"But we've been driving forever!" TJ whined. "And I'm getting hungry again."

Niall turned in his seat to glance at her. "Want me to switch places with Jessica so we can cuddle?" He waggled his eyebrows at her and grinned mischievously.

TJ giggled. "Yes please." She chirped, eyes sparkling.

"Oh no you don't. I'm not getting up I'm too comfy to want to move just cause you two lovebirds want to canoodle and 'snuggle.'" Jessica made air quotes as she said the word and rolled her eyes.

TJ pouted and crossed her arms. "Fine. Meanie." She stuck her tongue out Jessica. Niall chuckled and winked at her. "Maybe another time."

"Harry, when will we cross the Texas border?" Jessica asked, ignoring TJ and Niall.

Harry glanced at the GPS system before glancing up at the rear view mirror towards her. "Thirty minutes away from crossing the border."

They drove in silence for some time, the girls fast asleep in the back seat.

As Niall looked out at the scenery, he noticed a splotch of emerald green further down, off to the side of the road.

"Hey, what's that up there?" He asked Harry.

"I think it's a lake."

Niall's face brightened. "I could go for a little swim." He turned to Harry. "Whaddya say to a little detour?"

Harry grinned and nodded in agreement. He took the nearest exit and followed the signs to the lake. The parked off to the side of a dirt road before getting out of the car and staring at the view in front of them.

"Wow, this place is beautiful." Niall said in awe.

Harry whistled. "I've never seen lake water so green before. And the sand is so white."

"Where are we?" Jessica said groggily, rubbing the sleep out of her eyes.

Harry smiled at her. "Niall spotted this plan and we figured we'd stop and relax a bit."

"Oh, okay."

Niall stuck his head back into the car. "Hey TJ, wake up! You gotta see this lake."

TJ groaned. "5 more minutes daddy."

Niall smirked. "Since when was a I daddy?"

TJ's eyes popped open as it dawned on her what she said. She gasped in horror. "I did not mean it like that!"

Niall laughed. "I'm more than glad to be daddy, if that's how you like it."

"Oh my lanta." TJ put her face in her hands in embarrassment.

Jessica and Harry chuckled. "Did you really just refer to Niall as 'daddy?'" Harry said, disbelieving.

"Well we know what TJ was dreaming about before 'daddy' woke her up." Jessica smirked.
