***A/N: The first four chapters are very baby heavy, but the book has a bigger story line than just August. Harry is heading out on tour, and you remember those break-ins, right?

For those of you that came here for Dadrry- these are your chapters 😉

{Review: The End of Chapter 73- Anna H.S.}

She tries her best to do ask they ask, bearing down with each push, but the results are obviously not what they want as the room suddenly fills with six other people, rushing to Anna's side or flitting around in busy activity. Cabinets are flung open and things are being set on the bed, while a nurse picks up a phone and I overhear the term 'operating theatre'

Dr. Norby stands from his position, gesturing something to one of the other doctors in the room before his focus falls entirely on us. "Mr. and Mrs. Styles, the baby's heart rate is continuing to drop and we can no longer wait to intervene. We need to prep Anna for an emergency c-section."

"What?!" I hear Anna scream from next to me. Someone has taken her leg from my arms and they are hooking things up to her body as she looks at me with the most chaotic fear-filled eyes, tears now streaming down her face.

I don't understand what is happening myself, but I need to fake that I do for her sake. "Please just trust them, Anna," I say, gaining my courage from god knows where. "It will be alright. I plant a kiss on her lips as they begin to move her bed, wheeling her through one set of double doors and out of the room.

Eight people surround her bed as the love of my life enters the operating theatre at the end of the hallway and the doctor I am putting my complete faith in lays his steady hands on my shoulders.

My tears are falling, and I am shaking uncontrollably. He starts, "she is going to be under general anesthesia within moments. Once the team is set, I can have the baby out in under sixty seconds. Mr. Styles, you have to trust me, I have everything under control," he assures me as a nurse comes back in, "we are almost ready for you, doctor."

"I need to go. A nurse will be in soon. Please take a seat," he tells me and as I do, I sob uncontrollably into my lap, hot tears falling in puddles on the floor surrounding my feet. This isn't how this was supposed to go. This isn't the happy delivery we planned. This isn't the kind of moment I wanted for my son to meet the world. This isn't the story we wanted for his birth.

The ticking of the clock on the wall is now the only noise accompanying me in the eerily silent space as I pray that it will all just be fine.

35 ticks. 36 ticks. 63 ticks. It has now been over a minute and nothing.

90 ticks. 112 ticks. 148 ticks. FUCK. I stand up to pace the room, rubbing my hand up and down the back of my neck, ripping the damn turquoise scrub jacket off my body, growing angrily anxious for news as I stare at the crumpled up fabric in a pile where Anna's bed used to be.

200 ticks. What in the hell is taking so long.

Finally, at 243 ticks, 4 minutes and 03 seconds after the doctor walked out of this room, the door starts to open and a nurse walks in to find me.}

Harry POV:

The nurse barely gets through the doors to the tiny room that I have been pacing frantically across for the last few minutes, though I could have sworn it has actually been hours. I instinctively reach out to her, my entire body involuntarily begging for some human contact almost as much as I need to hear her tell me that both Anna and August are alright.
