Anna 2- CHAPTER 36

Harry POV:

Of course Maddie would have the baby early, and during the six days we are back in New York getting everything buttoned up at the apartment here. The plan was always for me to head to Tokyo from New York because I have some desperately needed studio time booked. Anna and I had a long conversation the day after my birthday about how it is really hard to write and focus when I'm in the same place as her and the kids, because all that I want to do is spend time with them.

There is also the element of people being around, doing things that I want to do, and distracting me from my focus on the music. Especially now with the new baby on the way, I want to have the bulk of the work completed on the album before she joins our family. God knows, things have a way of not turning out how you expect them to with babies, and I have to just assume that the entire month of June and July are out, as far as me being able to do much work.

Anna actually suggested Tokyo, knowing it is one of my absolute favorite places in the world. The people are respectful and I am able to move through space there with much less recognition or fuss. It will take at least a week for the first photo of me to surface from there because people don't know I am going, and people just don't hound me in Japan like they do everywhere else. That's what I need right now. In the end, we settled on me flying to Tokyo for almost a month, which does break our fourteen day rule, but Anna understands that I need more uninterrupted time.

It doesn't mean that I don't feel guilty asking Anna to take on the home-front on her own, but she was insistent. We have put August in a preschool three days a week, so she is planning her workday around dropping him off at school, which she was also adamant about. I had a meeting with Viv and Marit about my absence. They will be well compensated for picking up extra hours and helping Anna in all the places that they can. I have also hired a personal chef friend to come in twice a week and cook, and prep, meals for a few days at a time. I am trying to do all that I can to make sure my family is good back at home, so that I can focus on my job in Japan.

It isn't that we didn't get things done in the studio in New York, or even in L.A., but it was choppy and interrupted. Some people were in-town one week, and others the next. In Tokyo, we will all be there the entire time, and the plan is to spend at least the first two weeks completely sequestered at the house we are renting right down the street from the studio. This kind of focus is what I need to make this album what I want it to be.

"Harry, do you have a jacket packed?" Anna calls from the hallway.

"I do, love. I am capable of packing my suitcase for an extended trip." I tell her and she enters the room looking annoyed with me. Which is exactly what I was hoping for. The nanny has Robin and August  out for the morning, and my Anna is every bit as insatiable as she was while pregnant with our last two babies. So, I have been trying to be extra available to make up for the fact that she is going to have to miss out on our little rendezvous for the next month.

She comes over the bed, looking at the piles I have on top of it and I surprise her by wrapping my arms around around her from behind, and pulling her against my fully aroused body. "Oh, thank god," she says reaching back to aggressively palm my cock. "I didn't give a damn if you packed a coat, I was looking for an excuse to come in here."

I smile at her, because I knew there was an ulterior motive at play from the look she gave me. "I am more than happy to take a break from packing," I say as I sway her body, still connected to mine, and begin to kiss her neck from my position behind her. My right hand finds her breast. She is almost done with nursing Robin, so they are back to being MINE for a few months, and I want to have my hands on them as much as I possibly can.
