***A/N: I am guessing that we will be dealing with 2 part/split chapters for these last few because I like to keep the chapters in this book to no more than 7,000 words. I've written a few that are closer to 11,000, so I have split them up. ANYHOO- Here is part 2 of Chapter 55!

*** A/N 2: There are going to be SO MANY photos in all of these chapters. ENJOY!

~April 16th, 2022: Home on Tour- Glasgow~

Anna POV:

At her request, I dropped off Marit and the kids at Anne's house on my way from London to Glasgow. Harry, and the band, have been in Glasgow since yesterday morning getting all the final details ironed out for the start of the tour. I'm the only one that will be attending the tour opener. Harry actually finds it bad luck to have the first stop of the tour as his 'hometown' show, where he has a lot of people in the audience that he wants to deliver his best show to. So, for Home on Tour, Glasgow is the dress rehearsal for the rest of the shows. I don't care if he finds it as bad luck, I've missed enough of his shows for this lifetime and though I had planned to bring the entire family, I think deep down Anne knew that he and I needed to have this moment together, just the two of us (and 50,000 or so of his fans).

I pulled up outside the arena, driven by a nameless face from the management company that I didn't know, but Paul had sent me a picture of. Standing outside the door at the performer entrance, probably waiting for me, was Jeff and Sadie.

"Hi, Anna! Feel strange to arrive alone?" Jeff asks and I nod.

"Definitely, but I have a feeling that you and Anne both had something to do with that."

"I'm not saying another word because I would never out your mother-in-law." Those words, and the look he is giving me, tell me that she most certainly did work with Jeff to pull this plan together.

"Where's Tulip?" Jeff asks me as we walk down the hall, almost like he didn't realize that I was also free from the most needy member of the touring family.

"Gemma took her for the week."

"Well, then I'm afraid some of this will be unnecessary," he says as he opens the door to Harry's dressing room and I see a little puppy pen along one of the walls. I scan the rest of the room for Harry. Not seeing him after my first once over, my face falls and Jeff laughs. "Relax, he's just in the shower.  He was dealing with some nerves, so I told him to run the stairs and get rid of them." It's then that I hear the shower behind the far door in the room. I don't know why I didn't hear it before. Jeff turns to me, looking down at his watch. "You two have an hour before he needs to be anywhere, just make sure you lock the door."

"You're not going to tell me to keep it down?" I ask, confidently.

"No, because when I do I swear you are louder to spite me." Jeff closes the door, but then opens it again. "I'm serious, lock the door. There are some new staff on tour that don't need to walk in on that and haven't yet been told about your dressing room arrangement."

"You make it sound like I'm having an affair with him. He IS my husband, Jeff." He smiles and closes the door and I lock it behind him. Still hearing the sound of the running water and unmistakable cannon of Harry's voice humming something as he cleans his body, I decide to surprise him. As I walk across the space towards the bathroom door, I undress; dropping articles of clothing in a trail.
