Hiiii. This is my first book so please be patient with me. This chapter is just to introduce the characters.
Mila Adman: the main character, a 17 year old girl from Los Angeles, California . She's 5'3, half Hispanic /black, with a small but shaped figure. She lives in a pretty nice 3 bedroom apartment with her Uncle August.

August Adman: He is Mila's 36 year old uncle. He took her in when she was 8 after her mother got hooked on drugs and started prostituting herself. He's a big time drug dealer but choses to stay humble so he's not too flashy. Most of his money goes to Mila's college fund as his main concern is making sure she has everything she desires.

Isaiah Howard: He is Mila's boy best-friend. He's 17years old and lives in the same apartment complex with his mother and 2 younger sisters. Him and Mila have been friends since he moved out there from San Bernardino in 4th grade. They've been inseparable since and don't play about each-other at all.

Kaiya Jones: She is Mila's girl bestfriend since they were in middle school. They're always together and extremely close but they bump heads a lot due to their similar personalities. Kaiya is 17 years old, single, outgoing and the blunt one in the group. She always tells it like it is and that what attracts people to her the most. She lives with her sister & mother who is never really home so she spends majority of her time at Mila's house and thinks of her uncle as a father.
