Maybelle Dubois has just moved to Paris, France, after living in the quiet countryside for most of her life.

You awoke to the sound of your alarm, blaring it's annoying sound. Yawning and rubbing your eyes as you sit up, you grab your phone, seeing a text from Luka.
Luka Good morning Maybelle :)
Maybelle Good morning Luka ! How'd you sleep :)
Luka Pretty good, glad to see you got home safely!
Maybelle Yeah, I got lost, but I was walked home by some dude who called himself ? Cat Noir ? Is that real or was I creeped on..?
Luka Haha, yes here in Paris we have super heroes, the main ones are Ladybug and Cat Noir. Don't worry, they're good people, I've met them both countless times. Still, I wish I had walked you home :(
Maybelle Well thank god, because now he knows where I live lmao Also it's okay that you didn't walk me back ! I gotta get ready for school now, I'll text you later :)

You got showered and brush your teeth, but got stuck when you had to pick out an outfit. You wanted to make a good impression on your new classmates. After some consideration, you chose a black lace trimmed tank top, a forest green patterned skirt, along with some sheer black stockings, your cardigan from yesterday and a pair of platform mary jane oxfords.

You slid on a few rings, earrings and a necklace to complete your outfit, you looked in the mirror feeling good about today. Grabbing your bag, you bounced down the stairs ready to meet your new classmates. Your parents had already gone to work, so you decided you'd stop by Marinette's bakery again for some breakfast.
The bell jingled when you walked in, and you saw a huge man behind the counter.
"Welcome! What can I get you today?" The man bellowed cheerfully.
"Hi! I'll just take two chaussons aux pommes, please!" (A/N: man I just looked up French breakfast pastries, it's basically a fancy apple fritter, if you don't like apples, change it to anything else :) )
The man bagged the pastries, and you paid. On your way out, a blur of midnight blue and pink flashed before you, causing you to stumble back.
"Oh! Maybelle, right? Hi, sorry I'm running late for school! What are you doing here?" Marinette asks hurriedly.
"Hi Marinette! I'm just grabbing some breakfast before school! Speaking of which," You pull out your phone and check the time, only to realize you're also about to be late! "Oh shoot I'm gonna be late too!"
You run out of the shop, holding the door for Marinette as you both run down the sidewalk before looking at each other.
"Wait, Maybelle, where are you going to school at?" Marinette inquires, now jogging.
