Visions of Chat Noir carrying me on rooftops and whispering for me to stay with him cloud my mind.

A boy who looks like Adrien laying me onto a soft bed, and arguing with a floating black cat.

Pin pricks and aches, the sound of scissors snipping cloth.

Murmurs of apologies and wet skin touching mine.

I awoke in a cold sweat, my hair stringy and stuck to my forehead. A weight of warmth rests on my chest, Calii. My hand trembled as I pet her soft fur, stirring her awake.

"Oh, good," she purred. "That boy said you'd be out for a while, but I didn't expect it to be this long!" Calii stretched, laying back down in the crook of my neck.

I looked around the room, and it felt familiar. The wall of books, elaborate computer setup, spiral staircase...

Agony hit me like a truck as I sat up, and I brought a shaking hand to my torso. I slowly dragged myself out of the cozy bed to examine my newly dressed wound, when the all too familiar sound of steel panging on rooftops caught my attention.
As the sounds got closer, so did he. My heart raced and I hobbled into the bathroom, locking the door behind me.

"Calii, what is Chat doing here? And why did he bring me to Agreste's?" I whisper-yelled, clutching my torso.

The cat stayed quiet, urging me to do the same with a 'shh' gesture.
The sound of Chat Noir's boots seemed to echo as they grew near.

"Uh.." He cleared his throat. "Powder? Are you in there?"

I looked to Calii for guidance, and she just shook her head, repeating her previous gesture.

Chat knocked at the door quietly. "If you're worried about me knowing your identity, don't be, I-I made sure Adrien covered your face while he stitched you up.." he assured.

I breathed a sigh of relief, allowing myself to slide down to the floor against the door.
"Thanks, but why'd you bring me here?" I asked.

On the other side of the door, I hear a similar sliding, metal and leather scraping mahogany as he sat down. "He helps me far too often, and I know he's trustworthy. You don't have to worry about your identity being compromised here, Powder."

"Calii, transform me." I mumble, relief washing over me as her magic covers my body. I open the door, and Chat falls backward, now laying on the floor.
Once our eyes meet, he scrambles to get up, his eyes evident with worry.

"Powder, you shouldn't be transformed right now, or really even standing, just come lay back down, okay? I'll get you a mask or put something between us-"

I walk past him, ignoring his concern. Opening the window, I look back at him.
"Thank you, Chat Noir."

"Powder," Chat breathed. "Powder, wait!"

But I had already leapt out and into the streets of Paris.

I roam Paris for what feels like hours, only to find myself sitting on a rooftop, staring at Luka's houseboat.
I'll just go check on him, I think to myself as I hop down, wincing.
What's the harm in it?

I snuck quietly around the boat, perching on the roof above Luka's window and peering in, my view upside down.
I quickly found the harm in doing this was finding Marinette sitting on Luka's bed, my Luka's bed. And him sitting right next to her.
Holding her hand.

I gasp as I lose my balance, falling hard onto the wooden deck. Agony emanates from my wound, and I let out a long groan, pushing myself up. So much for cats always landing on their feet...
My ears perk up at the sound of the window swinging open, and I skitter to my feet, a feeling of Déjà vu sits in my chest as I flee.
