Chapter Twenty Six

Ashton's POV
I was causally on my phone, just scrolling through Twitter when something caught my eye.
My mouth dropped down all the way to the floor when I saw it.
The tweet was by Alex, and it said:
Good morning Twitterverse! As you guys may or not know, Luke and I are dating. We've been together for a while now. I know that there's going to be tons of hate out there from some fans, I know that. I know some people aren't going to be fond of our relationship. I'm perfectly ok with that. Luke and I really love each other, and if you can't accept the fact that we're happy, I'm sorry.
We are also moving in together after the tour ends. I hope you all understand. Lots of love to the 5SOS FAM!
Did she just?
She did.
Does Luke know about this?
I bet he doesn't.
Oh no, how is Alex going to tell him?
I hopped off my bed and ran quickly out of my room and to the living room. Alex and Luke were cuddling on the couch, watching a movie.
"Alex, does Luke know about the tweet?" I asked frantically.
"Ashton, calm down, of course I know that Alex tweeted about our relationship and that we're moving in together. Juts take a deep breath and chill, ok?" Luke replied letting out a small laugh. I breathed out a sigh of relief and collapsed on the couch.
"We decided to tell the fans now because well, after the whole drama with Calum's tweet, might as well just come clean to the world" Alex said shrugging. "I'm proud of you two. Alex, you sure you can handle all hate that's going to come?" I asked. "I can handle insults and death threats. They don't really get to me" She replied calmly.
"I'll be here to comfort you if you break down" Luke said planting a kiss on her forehead. I internally sighed with happiness. Luke has finally found someone he can be himself with.
Alex is a very great girl with a big heart. The boys and I thought that she was perfect for him right when we first met her. And of course, we were right.

(Later that day)

Luke's POV
I smiled as I leaned in and kissed Alex lovingly. She melted into the kiss and wrapped her arms around my neck.
I grabbed Alex's waist and pulled her closer to me. We were rudely interrupted by Calum, Michael, and Ashton barging in through our
bedroom door. "Sup peasants??!" Michael shouted as he plopped himself down on the bed. "We clearly interrupted something. These two were probably making out before we came in here" Calum said smirking. My face turned bright red, making him laugh.
"Well, you can't talk Hood. Yesterday,I happened to walk in on you and Clifford here making out" I said smirking. The smirk fell from Calum's face and Luke laughed. "Haha, see? You can't make fun of Alex and I doing the naughty stuff. Because now that you have a boyfriend, you make out a lot" Luke retorted. Calum muttered a quick "shut up" under his breath before sitting beside Michael on the bed. "So, what do you guys wanna do?" Ashton asked. "We order pizza, watch tons of movies, and stuff our face with popcorn" I said smiling. "My kind of night!" Michael exclaimed.

(That night)

Calum's POV
I sighed happily as I looked around the dark room. Alex and Luke were cuddling on the end of the couch, Ashton was sitting opposite them munching on popcorn, and I was in my boyfriends's arms, with my head on his chest. Everything was perfect. My life was perfect. I have the best job, friends, fans, family, and boyfriend. There's nothing in this world that can change that.
