Chapter Ten

Luke's POV

I smiled as I looked over at my gorgeous girlfriend. How did I manage to steal this girl's heart in eight days?

We just got together yesterday. I have to ask Alex when she wants to go public. I just hope the fans don't send hate to her. I took a strand of her soft dark brown hair and played with it.

I'm so glad the boys were so supportive of us getting together. Let's just hope the fans are supportive too. The date I had with Alex yesterday was absolutely perfect. I leaned down and gently kissed her soft pink lips. After I pulled away, Alex's beautiful brown eyes fluttered open. " Good morning Lukey" She said yawning. " Morning babe" I said placing another kiss on her lips.

Alex kissed me back gently. After kissing for five minutes, we pulled away. "Let's get ready now " Alex said starting to free herself from my grip.

" You're not going anywhere " I said pulling her back into my chest.

" You wanna cuddle, don't you"? She asked snuggling in my arms again .

" Yes, yes I do" I repiled smiling.

And that's what we did.

( later )

Michael's POV

" Cal, get your fat butt off me" I said trying to push him off.

" No, I won't . And I don't have a fat butt. I have a great butt, for your information" Calum said sassily.

Calum, Ashton and I are all sitting in the hotel lobby waiting for Alex and Luke to come. " Why did you have to sit on my lap"? I asked. " Because I knew it would make you tick" Calum repiled smirking. " Your such a jerk" I said slapping him on the back of his head.

"Ow"! Calum exclaimed.

" You deserved it" I said flipping him off. " Did you just flip me off behind my back"? Calum asked. " Yes" I repiled.

" Mikey, why are you so mean to me "? Calum asked. " I don't know, maybe it's because you're really annoying" I said .

" I'm so gonna kill you later" Calum said sliding off my lap. I just laughed as he walked over to Ashton and sat in his lap. " Ash, can you cuddle me ? Michael's being a jerk" Calum asked pouting like a three year old.

" Sure Cal" Ashton repiled wrapping his arms around his waist and pulling into his chest. Calum snuggled into them and smiled. ( A/N: #MAJORFEELS 😭) I know, we're extremely weird people. I sometimes question why I hang out with these guys.

( few minutes later)

Calum's POV

Luke and Alex have finally joined us and now we are all going to have lunch. When we got outside, there were thousands of girls screaming things like

"Michael, have my babies" or " Marry me Ashton" ! I looked over at Alex and Luke, who were holding hands . " Luke, who's that girl with you? She looks like a clown. I can't even stand to look at her. Luke could do so much better"!!! A girl wearing way too much makeup shouted. Oh no she didn't. She did not just say that about Alex. I looked at Luke , who's face was a dark shade of red. His lips were pressed together firmly and I saw him squeeze Alex's hand tightly. Alex's eyes were puffy and red. I saw a single tear trickle down her face. I clenched my fists as we walked to the car. Suddenly, Michael stopped walking and turned to the girl who had insulted Alex. Uh oh, I thought. Michael's face was as red as his hair. Michael isn't an aggressive person, but he is when someone he loves/ cares about gets insulted.

"Who do you think you are?!You think you have the right to say that but you don't . Alex doesn't look like a clown, she is very beautiful. More than you'll ever be . You wear too much makeup and look like you bathed yourself in it.
Why can't you love and support Alex and Luke's relationship like Calum, Ashton and I do?!! I could care less if you insulted me, just don't insult her.
Luke loves Alex very much. Therefore , you're the one who's a clown"! Michael yelled in her face. The girl was absolutely speechless and scared.

(A/N: I know Michael isn't really like that, it's just all for the story. Please don't get mad ! Michael is probably one of the most sweetest people ever. Remember , this is a fanfiction, so don't take it seriously)

Ashton walked over to Michael and grabbed his arm pulling him away.

What just happened? I thought as we walked away.

(In the car)

Luke's POV

Once we got to the car, I immediately looked at Alex to see if she was ok.

She wasn't. Her eyes were puffy and red complete with tears streaming down her face like a waterfall.

"Come here babe" I said softly. Alex unbuckled her seatbelt and scooted over to me. She flung herself onto me like a puppy. Alex buried her face in my chest. I wrapped my arms around her and kissed the top of her head. Alex cried and cried. Her tears were staining my shirt, but I didn't care. I can't believe that girl would say something like that to my own girlfriend. " Alex, what that girl said wasn't true. You are the most beautiful girl I have ever seen in my life. That girl was nothing compared to you. Don't listen to what anyone says about you. I love you and that's all that matters" I said playing with her hair. "Thanks Luke, you're the best boyfriend a girl could ask for" Alex said sniffling. "Alex, look at me" I said.

Alex sat up and slowly lifted her head up." I love you so much and I will do anything to protect you. Alex, if anything like this happens again, I will take care of it. Just know that are people in this world who will try and bring you down. You need to stay strong and confident. You're dating me, which means that you will get hate from fans. Some fans can be mean and not supportive. But there are some who are. I love you so damn much Alex, remember that" I said.

Alex nodded. I slowly leaned in and pressed my lips to hers. I kissed her with tons of love and passion. She did the same to me. It was a very sweet and romantic kiss. I kissed her to prove how much I love her. After we pulled away, Alex pressed a small kiss on my cheek saying" Luke, you make me feel loved" I smiled as Alex leaned into me and rested her head on my chest.

I wrapped my arms around her and laced our fingers together. Then, leaning down, I placed a small kiss on her forehead before sitting upright again. And this is how we sat for the rest of the car ride.

( at the restaurant)

Michael's POV

I've never actually been that angry before. Am I a bad person for doing that? I just wanted to stand up for Alex that's all. It's a good thing paparazzi wasn't there because if they were, there would be a video of me yelling at that girl. Then everyone would think I have anger issues and hate our fans or something like that. "Mikey, I don't blame you for standing up for Alex but you went a little too far" Calum said.
"I know Cal. What if the fans think I'm a jerk"? I asked running a hand through my hair. "We do have an interview tomorrow for Seventeen Magazine. We can clear all that up there" Calum repiled. I let out a huge sigh of relief and smiled gratefully at Calum. "Thanks mate"I said. "No prob Mikey"He said smiling.

(later)
Alex's POV
I can't believe Michael did that for me earlier, I thought. Sure that girl's words were very hurtful/offensive, but I didn't think it would cause him to be like that.
But I'm glad he stuck up for me. Michael is such a good friend, I thought smiling. I'm standing on a balcony outside Calum and Ashton's hotel room. Luke, Michael,Ashton and Calum are inside watching TV. I told Luke I was going outside for a little bit, so he knows I'm out here. I looked up at the sky, which was a gorgeous baby blue. There were no clouds in the sky, so the sky was completely clear. Then I noticed the bright yellow sun, which was high up in the sky shining brightly.
I breathed in the sweet smell of the air around me. It's really nice up here, I thought. It's a great place to think about things. I took one last look at the sky before turning around and walking back inside the hotel room.

A/N: Hey guys! So, I know that this chapter was very short and I'm sorry about that. It's just that I'm very busy with school, life, etc. So, that means I can only update this fanfic when I have free time. I will also be releasing a Cake fanfic next year. It's going to be my first boyxboy one, and I'm very excited for it. Guess what? My 5SOS Preference book has gotten 1.K reads!!!!!
