Chapter Twenty Nine

(Three months later)

Jessica's POV
Will, Katie, Christian, and I are sitting on my couch watching a movie. I suddenly hear the doorbell ring. "I'll get it" I say immediately walking towards the door.
I open it and am suprised to see my best friend, her boyfriend, and his group of friends. "Oh hey Alex, usual day for you isn't it?" I asked smiling.
"Yeah, pretty much" Alex replies laughing. I pull her into a quick hug and give Luke, Ashton, Calum, and Michael all high fives. Alex and her entourage step inside and she gives Will and Christian hugs and high fives.
"So, how was touring with 5SOS?" Will asked. "It was exhausting, but amazing. I loved seeing new sights every day. I loved flying on the private jets, trying new food, and going to all the 5SOS shows" Alex gushed happily.
"I'm glad you had fun, and I'm also glad you're back" I said smiling.
"So, Will, I heard you have a girlfriend" Alex said causally. "Oh yeah. I really want you to meet her. She's so nice and pretty, you'll love her" Will said smiling. I'm not so sure about that, I thought. Katie doesn't seem like she can be trusted, and I have to find out why.

Luke's POV
It's so nice to be back in LA and I'm glad that Alex got to catch up with her friends. I'm glad Will has a girlfriend so he can't steal my girl away.
Wait Luke, calm down, you're doing it again, you're overreacting. We all sat down on the couch and watched Mean Girls. I love this movie.

Alex's POV
After we watched Mean Girls, Ashton got up and said" I gotta go to the grocery store, I'll be right back"
Then he left before either of us could say anything. Katie got up from her spot next to Will and followed Ashton outside. Well, that was weird and also very suspicious. "Let's follow them" Jessica said already running to the door putting on her pink sneakers.
We all scrambled out the door and our mouths dropped open at a very shocking sight. Ashton and Katie were making out against Jessica's car.
I looked over at Will, whose blue eyes had tears in them. "Katie, how could you?!!" He yelled, causing the couple to break apart. "Wait! Will, I can explain" Katie said desperately.
Will shook his head and said" No, you can't. There's nothing you can say that will make me believe you. You cheated on me. I never wanna see you again. Get out of my life Katie. Go with your boyfriend, Ashton" Ashton, who had been standing behind Katie the whole time, cleared his throat and said" Katie, we need to talk. And Will, I'm pretty sure you want to say what I'm about to say to her too, so come over here" Will nodded and walked over to where Ashton was standing.
Katie turned around and faced them, tears in her green eyes. "I'll go first. Katie, we're through. I'm sorry it had to end this way, but our relationship wouldn't last anyway. Next year, I'm going away for another tour for five months, and I won't get to see you. I'm just way too busy with 5SOS. It's not going to work out between us" Ashton said gently. "Katie, when we started dating, I thought you actually liked me. I thought I would finally have a girlfriend. But I was wrong. You cheated on me with one of my new friends, and I can't trust you anymore.
I'm sorry. We're over" Will said as a tear slipped down his cheek.
Katie, who looked like a mess, ran away from us with tears in her eyes.
Will slowly trudged over to us with a forlorn expression on his face.
"It was never meant to be" He said softly. And with that, Will ran back into Jessica's house. "Poor Will, he got his heartbroken" I said sadly.
"Thank goodness she's gone. I've been trying to break up with her for months" Ashton said. And with that, we all went back into the house to comfort Will.

A/N: So much drama! Credits to my best friend Jess for coming up with this genuis chapter idea. I can't believe ASTR (A Summer To Remember) is almost over...
