"Raven... do you have your permission form to Hogsmeade?" Pansy asked worriedly as she watched Raven dig through her trunk for the slip of paper.

"Yeah, I do," Raven grunted. "I just don't remember where I put it."

"Did you get it signed?"

"Uhm I think I did," Raven said. "Don't exactly remember."

"Raven!" Pansy let out an exasperated sigh. "Gosh, don't you want to visit Hogsmeade?"

"Of course I do," said Raven. It was her mother who was a little more cautious about it. She never specified why she believed going to Hogsmeade to be risky but she did continuously tell Raven to be careful. "My mom was iffy about it though."

"Maybe she was worried about Sirius Black," said Daphne. "I mean, he is roaming around. And Dementors are stationed everywhere now."

"Probably..." Raven murmured. Her fingertips brushed against parchment and she immediately grabbed for it. "Ha! Found it!"

Pansy let out a sigh of relief. "Thank Merlin... Is it signed?"

Raven looked at it and pursed her lips. "No."

The Slytherin girls collectively groaned. "Raven."

"Don't worry," Raven said. "I have a trick."

She pulled out a small notebook from the trunk before getting up and closing it. Opening the notebook, Raven flipped through the pages until she found one full of scribbled signatures that belonged to both her and her mom. When she was younger, Raven's mom taught her how to create her own signature and they spent hours practicing it on the pages. Raven never threw it away, knowing what potential it held.

"What are you planning exactly?" Tracey asked, bending down to look at Raven's so-called trick.

Raven pointed her wand at one of her mom's signatures and said, "Replicare."

A copy of the signature floated off the page and hovered aimlessly until Raven directed it to the empty line on her permission slip. It landed on the paper and sealed itself down. Raven smiled triumphantly as she picked up the parchment with her mother's signature on it.

"Whoa..." The girls crowded around the parchment in awe.

"Boom, I can now go to Hogsmeade with you guys."

"Who taught you that?" Daphne asked, excitement in her voice. "Can you teach me?"

"I taught myself it," Raven said simply. "I'll teach it after we come back from Hogsmeade. Looks like Raven's Afterschool Lessons are back in session..."

"They were never over," Tracey said. "Just because Lockhart isn't here to be incompetent doesn't mean that we no longer need you to teach us certain spells and whatnot."

"I suppose so..." Raven got up and dusted her skirt off. "Alright, let's get to Hogsmeade, shall we?"

The five girls rushed out of the Slytherin dungeons, hoping to get to the castle entrance before the professors left. They had luckily reached Professor McGonagall and gave her their permission slips when she approved of them. They got into one of the last carriages and took off towards the village.

When they reached it, Raven couldn't believe her eyes.

Hogsmeade was absolutely enchanting. Shops lined up, all selling various things. From the chimneys white smoke emitted and danced in the air. The weather hadn't called for heavy snow just yet but there was a thin layer of white on the cobblestone paths and the roofs. It was a perfectly picturesque scene you'd find in a post card.
