*We see Luisa with a frown on her face, she wasn't angry, far from it. She was happy but conflicted looking down at the letter*

Julieta: cariño? What's wrong you've been looking at that letter for over an hour. Did something happen to your friend?

Luisa:n..no no, jack is fine, more then fine really it's just....well um I don't know how to say this...

*Julieta sat down next to her daughter and grabbed her hands giving her an encouraging smile*

Julieta:just say it Luisa I won't judge, what did he want?

Luisa:he...he wanted us to meet...face to face

Julieta:oh...but Luisa it's dangerous in that forest, you know that our gifts don't work outside of encanto

Luisa:I know I know but he has this friend that lives in that forest, she can take him here or me there if he asks her too I..I just don't know, what if...what if he sees me and doesn't like what he sees, men don't like buff girls Mami...

*Luisa snapped her head without realizing it Julieta now had the letter in her hands with a teasing smile*

*Julieta left running reading loudly the letter*

Julieta:oh Luisa it would make me happier then a dog with a fresh bone if we could meet up one day, how I long to see the girl behind those words, how I wish you were here so we can share our love of books together. *Julieta jumped out the window giggling like a little school girl seeing the absolute redness in her daughter's cheeks, what surprised her more was what she said next*

Meanwhile at Mirabel's and isabela's home

At sundown

*Isabela was behind Mirabel watching her work smashing roots and flowers on her molcajete, it's been a full day and they haven't talked about the elephant in the room*

Mirabel:what we're gonna drink to help our bodies clean out all the crap we drank and help with the headache

Isabela:it smells rancid

Mirabel:yup and it's gonna taste even worse pass me the diablo pepper flakes
