Chapter 2: Hinata Shoyo

Your POV

"Ugh that was embarrassing... Just in time I just found the class" I whispered to myself. I took a peek inside to see some of other students just talking to each other. I'm just trying to find my seat. Then, my eyes landed on an empty seat next to an orange haired boy. I sat down and pulled out my headphone to listen to some songs while waiting for the to arrive. A few minutes later, the orange haired boy beside me introduced himself.

"Hi, I'm Hinata Shoyo! Nice to meet you. What's your name?" I looked at him and blinked a few times trying to process. Then, I just smiled. "Ellie Sawamura. You can call me by first name because I have a big brother and it's going to confuse me." I introduced myself.

"Oh, okay then! Also, Ellie-san. I hope we can be friends." He said and smiled brightly. I just smiled at him. 'Wow, first day and I have already a friend,' I thought to myself. Before this, all of my classmates in my class would always ignore me and cut me whenever I talked to them. Then, the teacher walked into the classroom.

It's recess, everyone rushed to go to the cafeteria. "Hey, Ellie-san! Do you want to have lunch with me?" I looked up to see Hinata again. I nodded. Suddenly, he rushed outside and my eyes widen. "Hey, wait up, Hinata-san!" I chased him. 

Then, I bumped into someone again. I looked up to see it's the same guy I bumped early this morning. I blushed a little. "Ah! I'm s-sorry again..." I apologised and stuttered a little. "It's fine. Next time, don't rush." He just walked away. I felt embarrassed..

I walked to the cafeteria but I don't to eat at this time. I'm not that hungry yet. Then, I saw Hinata waving his hand to get my attention. I walked to the table and sat down. "I'm sorry, Ellie-san! I ran to the cafeteria and forgot about you." He apologised. "Oh, it's okay. I'm fine with it." I replied.

He the just eat his rice. Me on the other hand just only looked at him. He noticed me and said "Hey, Ellie-san. Why aren't you eating anything". "Oh, I'm not that hungry, yet. Also, the food at the counter is almost finish anyway." I looked at the counter. There's barely anything there. I just frowned.

"Here, you can have mine. I'm full anyways!" Hinata handed me his tray. I was shocked and he noticed it.  "Ehhh, Ellie-san, why do you looked shocked all of sudden??" He asks panickly. I looked at him and I just sighed and took his tray.

"Well, that's because... all of my so called 'friends' never treated me before. Some on them wanted and used all of my money. I can't say no to them or else they would do anything to hurt me. Although , I have a big brother but I don't want to tell him my life in middle school. Plus, he is probaly busy with the volleyball club." I explained and took a bite from Hinata's tray.

"Oh.. I'm sorry to hear that.." Hinata soften his eyes. "Wait, d-did you say volleyball club??" He asked excitedly and I nodded and continue eating. "Yep, my big brother is actually a volleyball club member and his name is Sawamura Daichi. Also, he's the captain." I told him. After that, Hinata's eyes sparkled.

"W-well, I really wanted to sign up for the volleyball club! Oh and what club are you hoping to get, Ellie-san?" He asks. I looked at him. "Oh, I was hoping for Art Club since I'm really into creative things and great at painting." I told him and he just make his mouth into an circle shape and it made me laugh a little.

Then, the bell rang. "Well just in time. I've already finished it. Let's get to class." I told Hinata and then, stood up. He followed me behind but he's a little taller than me.
