"Yes, I'll call you when I'll have lunch break." I told my mom as I walked to my office.

Surprisingly, Ri felt better yesterday, and the medicines were actually pretty effective. I'm glad that I took the day off and stayed with Ri.

Today, however, was a little hard to leave Ri again, but I knew I had to, and that she was getting better so I didn't have to worry that much.

I checked my emails and made sure I knew what I missed yesterday when I heard footsteps.

"Good morning." Jungkook said as he walked in my office.

"Good morning." I said in a cheerful voice, a little too cheerful for an early morning.

"Thought you won't be coming in today." He said.

"Ah no, um I took only one day off."

"We have a meeting at 10." I nodded in response. "Uh how is your daughter?"

Surprised,shocked, those words could not described how I reacted. I didn't think he'd be concerned or he'd even bother to ask about Ri.

"Better, she is yeah doing better. Thanks for calling Dr. Cho and um helping us."

His lips pursed, he gave a tight nod and then walked out.

My mind drifted to that moment when Jungkook smiled at Ri. It was something I couldn't forget, I couldn't erase.

He never gave anyone that same smile in this office. He never even smiled at me or any of his employees.

But that time, I thought, I saw a glimpse of someone no one knows. Someone I never knew and that made me curious. Even if I say that I didn't want to know the other side of him, even if I curse myself for finding my boss hot, even if the image of him smiling makes me feel some kind of way that makes me want to punch myself in the face,I still wanted to know him.

I can't lie to myself. Seeing him smile that day surprised me, him offering to help me, driving me to my house, him getting the doctor because Ri was sick, it all made me felt some kind of way that I can't understand.

"I think we should review the costs of all that." Jungkook said as we were now sitting in the conference, having a meeting with the client.

"Yes, I count on you, Mr Jeon."

It's been half an hour and we're still discussing with this client and he talks so much.

"You'll get back to me then?" He said.

"Yes, sure, I'll let you know our decision." Jungkook said.

"Well, that's it then, thank you so much for your time, Mr Jungkook, Miss Y/N." He said as he shake hands with Jungkook.

I sighed in relief.

"I see you're not very much interested in this." Jungkook said as I took my notebook and pen.

"I don't think he knows what he's saying." I shrugged.
