We acted as if last night never happened. The day at the office went by very normal, strangely. Jungkook was really good at pretending, he could win an award for this. If "new day new beginning" was a person, it'd be him. I don't know how he could be as normal as he is right now after weirdly landing in front my door last night.

"We are over this." He said as he puts his pen down. "You can scan these and email the client."

I nodded and left his office as I see him pack his stuffs. Is he going home early?

I decided to mention a single thing about last night a few minutes after coming to the office and noticing my boss acting super normal while I prepared my questions and answers in my mind on the way to work today.

I turned off my laptop and packed my stuffs. I checked my calendar on my desk to see the schedule for tomorrow and a last look around the office before leaving for the day.

"Hello, mom."

"Yes, Y/N. You're off work already?"

"Yes, I'm on my way to pick Ri up. She wanted burger and fries, I think we'll have that for dinner."

"Okay okay, I'll get her ready then."

"Okay, I'll see you in a while." I said and hanged up.

"And then Grammy helped me making the butterfly." Ri said as we are about to get off the bus.

"Burger and fries tonight?" I asked smilingly.

"Yes." She said cheerfully. "Mommy, I want that."

"Ice cream?" I asked as I look where she pointed her little finger.

She nodded.

"Let's have dinner first, then ice cream."

"Promise?"

"Yes, my baby. Now let's go."

We had our dinner and on a way back from the deserts shop, Ri suddenly stops.

"Mommy, Kookie."

"That's too much sweet for you now, Ri. You just had an ice cream."

"No mommy, Kookie." I watch where she points and see Jungkook sitting there in a restaurant with someone?

Ri starts jumping as she waves her hand, hoping Jungkook would notice her.

"Ri, stop. Let's just go home."

"But mommy-"

"Miss Y/N?"

I looked up and yes, Ri's wish came true, Jungkook actually saw her.

"Hello!" Ri sang.

"Hi!" Jungkook said in an almost unrecognizable voice.

Is he really the boss I know?

"You are also having dinner out?" Ri asked.

"Also? You had dinner out too?"

Ri nodded.

"What did you have?"

"Burger, fries, ice cream." She counted on her fingers as she tells Jungkook.

Jungkook smiled at her, and gave a little pat on the head.

"Jungkook?" A feminine voice called out.
