It wasn't until I heard her voice that I realised that I actually drove to her house.

"I told you to never open the door to strangers, Ri, wait here-"

Before she could open the door, I turned back, and debated if I should just hide or run, but my car was just in front of her house.

"What are you doing here?" She asked and I cursed, I couldn't even try hiding.

I cleared my throat and turned back.

"Oh I was uhm passing by?"

"Yes? And so?" She pressed.

"I had a few doubts about the new client." I spitted out fast.

"Didn't I tell you I don't work at this time?" She said with a serious expression.

If only eyes could kill, I'd be dead by now.

"Mommy, this is rude." A little voice said, peeking through the side of the door. "You said that we should be nice to the guest."

"He is not a guest."

"But he know you and I know he too." She insisted. "Mommy, be nice."

Y/N sighed.

"Would you like to come in?" She offered with a forced smile.

If I had an explanation for why I'm here, I'd probaby laugh in her face because of this situation, right now, but I decide otherwise and walk inside her house.

"

I have chocolates." Y/N's daughter said. "You want, hmm?"

"Umm yes, thank you." I took one from her small hand and she watched carefully what I do with it. "I'll take it home and eat it tomorrow, okay?"

She nods.

"Ri?" Her mom calls her and asks her to introduce herself.

"Ohhhh! Yes! I am Rianna!" She said as she placed her hand in front of me and I shake hands with her.

"Nice to meet you, Rianna! I'm Jungkook." I said, smilingly and she returned the smile.

"We are going to make popcorn, and watch Elemental." She said.

"Ahh that's good!"

"You watch?"

"No I haven't watched it yet."

"You can stay and watch." She said.

I looked at Y/N and I couldn't read her expression at all, though I'm sure she doesn't appreciate my presence in her living room at this time.

"Umm unfortunately, I'll have to go, maybe next time?"

"But why?" She pouts.

"Because it's late right now, I should be heading home." I said.

"But you are here, and you can stay, we can have pyjama party. My friends do that here with me." She insisted.

Y/N laughed.

"I can come next time then we can watch." I told Rianna.

"But-"

"Ri!" Y/N interrupted. "It's too late right now, he has to go back home. We will plan next time and invite Jungkook, okay?"

"Okay." She sighed. "Next time."

"I'll head out now. Bye, Ri." I said as I pat her head.

"Bye bye!" She said sadly.

"I'll walk you out." Y/N said and I nodded, following her as I waved to Rianna.

"Was it because of work?" Y/N asked once we stepped outside.

"Hmmm?"

"Were you here because of work?"

"No." I answered, truthfully.

"Then why?"

"I don't know."

"Seriously?" Her arms crossed, she watched me with a curious expression.

"I'll get going now, sorry for interrupting your evening." I said before getting in my car.

I drove away thinking of why I actually went to her.

Usually after every such nights where I had to deal my father, I'd just drive until I reach somewhere quiet, just to have some time alone to myself.

I am not even close to her or her family, then why did I come to her..
