OVERCOME CHAPTER 1

Title: Shadows of the Past

A legendary person was incredibly powerful and influential in a world where strength and secrets were closely connected. This person was Ezekiel's father known as Griffin, known for his unmatched strength that amazed everyone. However, fate had different things in store for him. But one day, Griffin disappeared and left behind a mysterious story. People talked a lot about why he left. Some said he wanted to be alone, while others said he left because of a love that he shouldn't have had.

After 17 years

In the cheerful town of Coorg, a closely-knit family resided – Ezekiel also known as Zeke, the younger brother, his Older sibling Leon, and their father Griffin. Together, They were as strong as the big mountains around their home.

Griffin, their father, was the town's humorous soul. His witty jokes could brighten even the cloudiest days, spreading smiles far and wide. He would accompany Zeke and Leon to school each morning, sending them off with a mischievous grin. As the sun set, he'd be waiting by the gate, sharing amusing anecdotes about his day.

However, one ominous night, Griffin returned home covered in blood, his usual cheer replaced by an unsettling silence. He explained that they must leave Coorg to stay safe. Puzzled and fearful, they abandoned their belongings and fled.

After some time, Griffin's health deteriorated, forcing him into the hospital. Sadly, he succumbed to his illness. Zeke and Leon were left heartbroken, facing a world without their father's laughter. Yet, they recognized the need to remain strong and uncover the truth about that ominous night. Their journey had just begun, guided by their father's spirit through the shadows.

A New Beginning in Delon:

After their dad Griffin passed away, Zeke and Leon, along with their mom, moved to a new city named Delon. This place was known for having lots of crime, but they hoped it could be a new beginning.

Delon was very different from their old home in Coorg. It had busy streets and tall buildings. Zeke and Leon wanted to fit in, so they started going to a new school. But things didn't go as smoothly as they hoped.

Zeke and Leon joined a new school called Central Zone High School. But this school had a big problem – some bullies were sons of gangsters and politicians. Bullying was happening a lot in that school.

These bullies noticed Zeke and Leon because they were strong and always together. Every single day, these bullies would bother them by saying mean things and doing hurtful things. Even though the bullies didn't stop, Zeke and Leon didn't give up. They had already faced tough times when their dad passed away. They knew they shouldn't let fear control their lives.

At Central Zone High School, two brothers, Zeke and Leon, began their high school journey together. With them both starting at the same time, they knew that their experiences would be different.

Brothers at Central Zone High:

Both Zeke and Leon, Walking into their new classroom, saw many groups of students. Some girls caught everyone's attention and were often called the "hot" girls. These girls seemed interesting to a lot of students.

The other students noticed Zeke and Leon as they entered the room. Some of the students who were a bit mischievous looked at them with curiosity. It was like they were trying to figure out the new guys.

In this new place, both Zeke and Leon had their worries. They felt a little out of sorts, especially since their dad had passed away recently. These feelings made them a bit unsure about themselves, and they wondered how they'd fit in.

In the busy halls of Central Zone High School, Zeke faced a challenge named Jackson, Otto, and Lucas. These three guys were always causing problems, especially by bullying other students.

Whenever Jackson, Otto, and Lucas were nearby, things felt uneasy. They would pick on other students, making them feel bad and sad. This made the classroom feel less nice.

These bullies didn't hesitate to bother others. They would come close to the students they wanted to target. With their mean words and actions, they made the classroom feel tense and uncomfortable.

Zeke saw all of this happening, and it made him upset. He didn't like seeing his classmates treated badly. Even though he had his stuff to deal with in school, he couldn't just ignore what was happening to others. Zeke disagreed with Jackson, one of the troublemakers. This made Jackson mad, and he ended up hurting Zeke in the classroom.

Even though Zeke got hurt, he didn't tell his brother or his mom about what happened. He kept it a secret and didn't want anyone to know.

Zeke had a hard time because Jackson and his friends bullied him every day. Then, one day, Jackson hurt Zeke even more. Zeke's brother, Leon, saw what was happening and rushed to help.

Leon started fighting Jackson to protect Zeke, but things got tough, and Jackson hurt Leon too. Seeing his brother hurt, Zeke couldn't take it anymore. He grabbed a rod and used it to stop Jackson from hurting them. 

But Jackson kept hurting Zeke. This made Leon very angry and he couldn't control himself. He used the rod to hit Jackson's head, and sadly, Jackson died. Otto, Lucas, and Zeke were there and saw it happen.

After that happened, Zeke and Leon went home feeling scared. They didn't say anything to their mom for about 10 to 15 minutes. Then, the police came to their house. Leon had to tell the police about what he did. He had to go to jail, and the court decided he would be there for 1 year.

Their house felt heavy with fear and sadness. Their mom was really sad and scared. Zeke's heart was heavy too, and he started crying.

Otto and Lucas talked to Jackson's father, whose name is James. They told him what had happened. James is a local gangster, and he listened carefully to what they said. When he heard it, he got really angry and asked, "Where is the person who killed my son?".
