OVERCOME CHAPTER- 3

Title: THE Weekend

Saturday morning with the promise of a sunny day, Zeke and Jax decided to meet up near the local park. Excitement filled the air as they set out for their adventure. However, as they reached the park, they noticed a familiar face already there – it was Mikey.

Jax was puzzled and a bit irritated. He approached Mikey and questioned why Mikey was at the park. Mikey's grin widened mischievously as he responded, "I beat you here, that's why! Why do you want to know?" He playfully added, "Actually, I could ask you the same!"

Jax's irritation was evident, and a playful argument ensued between Jax and Mikey. Zeke watched the exchange, amused by the banter between his friends. It seemed like their plans for a peaceful morning had taken an unexpected twist.

After the initial tension, both Jax's and Mikey's moods cooled down. Curious, Zeke asked Mikey how he knew they were meeting there. Mikey's response was lighthearted: "I overheard your conversation yesterday. Mikey candidly admitted, "I don't have many friends." Zeke chuckled and comforted him, saying, "Well, now you have us. We're friends." Zeke assured Mikey that both he and Jax were there for him. Although Jax appeared reserved and slightly annoyed, Zeke lightened the mood by explaining, "Jax may seem that way, but sometimes he acts like a little kid."

With tensions eased, the three began to make plans for the rest of the day, transforming an unexpected encounter into a shared adventure. The three friends decided to head to the heart of the city, where an array of game stations and malls promised an enjoyable day ahead. As they embarked on their journey, Zeke, still new to the city, gazed around with curiosity. He noticed numerous groups of people hanging out on the streets and in various places, which intrigued him.

Curious, Zeke turned to Jax and Mikey and asked, "Why are there so many gangs in this city?" Mikey responded, explaining that Delon City had the highest crime rate, leading to the presence of many gangsters.

They arrived at an enjoyable game center, and inside, they noticed many girls from other schools accompanied by their school's boys' gangs. These groups added a lively, yet sometimes annoying, atmosphere to the game center. Amidst all the excitement, there were also a variety of snacks and food items available for customers to enjoy.

Zeke's eyes lit up as he took in the scene, feeling a surge of happiness. He couldn't help but smile and turned to Jax, expressing his gratitude with a simple "thanks."

They took their seats to start playing the games. As they began, Zeke's attention was divided between the game and observing how Jax and Mikey were playing. Curious, Jax and Mikey asked Zeke why he was watching them play instead of focusing on his own game. Zeke admitted, "I don't know how to play."

Both Jax and Mikey burst into laughter at Zeke's honesty. They kindly offered to teach him, patiently explaining the game mechanics. With their guidance, Zeke started playing, but his skills were quite poor. As they played, hunger struck them, and Zeke suggested, "Are you guys hungry too?" Jax and Mikey agreed with a nod. 

Zeke decided to get some snacks, leaving Jax and Mikey to keep playing games while he grabbed a bite to eat.

As Zeke was returning with snacks, he accidentally collided with a girl, causing juice to spill on her dress from his plate. Zeke quickly apologized, but to his surprise, the girl slapped him. She called her boyfriend, known as Tie, and he arrived with his gang of five members. The situation escalated rapidly.

Without hesitation, Tie and his gang started attacking Zeke relentlessly. The sound of the scuffle echoed loudly. Jax and Mikey, witnessing the commotion, rushed over to the scene. Seeing Zeke being attacked, they were filled with anger and concern. Mikey immediately questioned Zeke about what had happened, and Zeke explained the situation.

Both Jax and Mikey were seething with anger at Tie and his gang's behavior. As tensions escalated, Tie placed his foot on Zeke's shoulder, a blatant display of disrespect. Jax's and Mikey's fury reached a breaking point. Jax directed Mikey to take Zeke away from the confrontation while he faced the situation head-on.

Jax's anger was unlike anything Mikey had seen before. He was surprised by the intensity in Jax's eyes, a side of him he had never witnessed. Jax confronted Tie and his gang with unwavering determination, standing tall and commanding respect. He firmly instructed Mikey to take Zeke away, and Mikey followed without question. Jax's authoritative voice brooked no hesitation.

Jax unleashed a ferocious assault on Tie, his blows landing with deadly precision. The impact was so severe that Tie's face contorted in agony, bloodied, and teeth broken. The onlookers, Tie's gang members included, were filled with fear as they witnessed the brutal beating. Jax's raw power and ruthless determination sent shockwaves through the area, leaving an indelible mark of dominance.

After the intense fight settled, some onlookers in the gaming center began to connect the dots. Whispers spread quickly, and a realization struck them. The words "The Fierce " rippled through the crowd, leading to sweaty foreheads and nervous murmurs.

The weight of Jax's reputation was evident to those who knew the name. Faces paled, and some avoided making eye contact with him. The gaming center's atmosphere shifted, filled with unease and tension. Jax has another name he is known as "The Fierce Snake" had left an indelible mark on everyone there.

With the tension eased, Jax, Zeke, and Mikey left the gaming center behind and headed to a nearby restaurant. They enjoyed a hearty meal, sharing jokes and laughter over their food. After lunch, they decided to catch a movie and had a great time. As the sun began to set, they made plans to visit a nearby lake.

Reaching the lake, they were welcomed by an enchanting atmosphere. The sky was studded with twinkling stars, and a gentle breeze wrapped around them like a comforting hug. As they stood there, the beauty of the surroundings eased their worries.

Amidst the stars, they spotted a figure seated at a distance. She appeared ethereal, like a moon among the stars. It was Honey, her presence enhancing the magic of the night. Drawing closer, they recognized her as a classmate. Their interaction flowed naturally, filled with shared stories and laughter.

As the evening unfolded, Mikey playfully nudged Zeke to approach Honey and strike up a conversation. Overcoming nervousness, Zeke stepped forward, his anxiety countered by Honey's warm smile. Her laughter was a soothing melody, resonating with him and making the night even more special.

Beneath the starlit sky, their laughter and conversations carried them away. Zeke found himself captivated by Honey's radiant aura. Mikey encouraged Zeke to ask for Honey's mobile number. Although Zeke was unsure how to approach the request, Mikey gave him the courage to do so. With newfound confidence, Zeke asked Honey for her mobile number, and she willingly shared it.

After bidding them farewell, Honey headed home. As Zeke, Jax, and Mikey continued their conversation, Mikey couldn't resist teasing Zeke about the interaction with Honey. Both Jax and Mikey burst into laughter, while Zeke turned shy and embarrassed, After bidding each other farewell, they made their way back to their homes.

Their day had been full of unexpected twists and turns, from a chance encounter to a powerful display of strength. Yet, despite everything, their bond grew stronger, turning an ordinary weekend into a memorable adventure.
