OVERCOME CHAPTER 5

Title: THE PREPARATION STARTED

The following day, Zeke, Jax, and Mikey attended school. After classes, Mikey headed home, while Jax and Zeke went to Jax's beautiful house, leaving Mikey surprised. Curious about Jax's family, Zeke asked about his parents. Jax shared that his mother had passed away due to illness, and his father, a doctor, traveled often. Jax then gave Zeke a training outfit.

Leaving the house, Jax led Zeke to the back of his residence, revealing an abandoned martial arts center. With an air of mystery, Jax revealed that he had been using this place for training since he was a kid, Zeke's curiosity grew, and he asked about the center's owner. Jax's unsure reply revealed he didn't know, but the place was important because it held memories of his father teaching him how to fight.

In the gym, The old equipment looked different compared to modern ones. Jax began the training. and Zeke observed and replicated the moves accurately, surprising Jax. He realized Zeke was a quick learner and adept at Copying the actions. Zeke pushed himself beyond his limits, and Jax was impressed and content with his progress.

After three weeks of consistent training, Zeke began to notice positive changes in his body. As they continued their routine, attending school and walking together, Mikey remarked on Zeke's improved physique. In class, Honey was sitting on Mikey's bench, but upon seeing Zeke, Mikey quickly understood and took a seat beside Jax's bench.

 The students, including both boys and girls, quickly noticed the change in Honey's seat. Whispers spread among some boys, hinting that Zeke and Honey could be lovers. This made a few students jealous due to their obvious closeness.

Honey curiously asked Zeke about his noticeable physical change, prompting Zeke to respond with a subtle smile, "Oh, just exercising with Jax every day." As the class continued, Honey's eyes met Zeke's, and he couldn't help but notice. Overwhelmed by a rush of emotions, Zeke's eyes locked onto Honey's, and a tender feeling of affection blossomed within him. At that moment, their eyes held a silent conversation, and Zeke found himself falling deeper in love with each shared look.

As Jax and Mikey observed Zeke throughout the day. Later, their teacher announced a one-week holiday after that followed by half-term exams. While walking, Mikey advised Zeke not to expect too much from that girl. Mikey wasn't sure if that girl was right for Zeke, suggesting she might have a different personality. When Zeke asked "Why", Mikey said, "I can judge their personality just by looking at them." Throughout this discussion, Jax listened silently.

Zeke got angry at Mikey's words about Honey. but he eventually replied with a simple "okay." then they reached their homes.

 After that As Jax and Zeke began practicing, on the other side, Mikey entered his training room and noticed an unfamiliar man sitting on a bench. The man looked at Mikey and stated, "I know who you are." Mikey's anger flared as he questioned the man's presence, "Why are you here? Do you want to fight me?" That man denied any intention of fighting, saying, "No, I don't want to." That man approached Mikey closely, and it became clear that he was Erlik. Then Erlik asked, "Why are you in this city?" The air was tense with mystery and curiosity, On the other side, Zeke and Jax continued their intense training session.

While Zeke and Jax were engrossed in their training, the gym's gates were unexpectedly opened. In the dim light, a figure approached Jax. Zeke watched closely as Jax's attention shifted to the approaching figure. Suddenly, Jax's voice rang out, calling, "Father." known as David.

Jax's father came closer and hugged him, then looked at Zeke and asked, "Is this your friend?" Then Jax replied to his father with a smile, "Yes." David sat beside the bench, observing both Jax and Zeke. He felt a sense of familiarity in Zeke's face and approached him. David instructed Zeke to watch and replicate a technique. After demonstrating, David encouraged Zeke to perform the same move. To their surprise, Zeke executed it with 90% accuracy, leaving both David and Jax amazed.

David mentioned that it took Jax a week to learn the technique. Then, Jax's father inquired, "What is your father's name?" Zeke responded, "Griffin." When David asked for the full name, Zeke stated that his father's full name was just Griffin. This made David appear nervous and sweat slightly, and he asked Zeke about his father's occupation. Zeke replied, "My father has passed away." With a concerned expression, David offered his condolences, saying, "Sorry to hear about your dad."

Jax and Zeke left the gym and began walking toward Zeke's home. Inside the gym, David's tension was evident, his hands trembling. Meanwhile, Mikey and Erlik were preparing for a fight, but their plans were halted when Mikey's mom called them for snacks. Erlik and Mikey's mother engaged in conversation. Intrigued, Mikey questioned Erlik about his presence in his room earlier. Erlik straightforwardly explained that he had introduced himself as Mikey's friend.

After both Mikey and Erlik left the house, they started walking down the road. Suddenly, Jax and Zeke spotted them together. Curious, Zeke asked Mikey why he was with Erlik. Mikey quickly responded, "I saw him on the road, and he asked about a nearby famous restaurant." Then Jax suggested that they all go to a restaurant and eat together, and everyone readily agreed.

They entered a renowned restaurant named Spy Restaurant, where the lively atmosphere and attractive smells welcomed them. As they took their seats, the menu revealed higher prices. Zeke and Jax had some money, but Mikey realized he'd left his wallet behind. In a surprising twist, Erlik offered to pay for their meal, suggesting he'd treat them. Zeke, Jax, and Mikey hesitated at first, declining the offer. However, Erlik apologized for his earlier behavior towards all and insisted. Eventually, they all agreed.

Then, Mikey lightened the mood by making jokes about the menu's high prices and playfully commenting on some attractive people nearby, sharing a laugh with Jax, Mikey, and Erlik.

The delicious food filled their stomachs, leaving them content. As they were walking along the street, they were in a good mood, feeling cheerful and happy, exchanging jokes and stories. Erlik proposed, "Let's meet again tomorrow," and Everyone happily agreed., their hearts lit with joy as they returned to their homes.

On the other side, David made a call and urgently conveyed, "The blood is still alive; you need to watch over him." The voice on the other end questioned, "How did you discover this?" David explained, "Surprisingly, he is a friend of my child." I noticed the intensity of the same blood and a similar face in that boy." On the receiving end, the person responded, "It's not the right time. I have many tasks here. I'll come when the time is right."

David's voice trembled as he revealed, "I've received something... the dragon is still alive." Urgently, the unknown person questioned David about the dragon's whereabouts. David replied with uncertainty, "I don't know, but he's in my country." Fear colored the unknown person's tone as they said to David, "I will come as soon as possible."
The episode ended, leaving behind an uneasy mix of mystery and fear, hinting at ominous events to come.
