During his time as a vigilante Ember agents were a common occurrence. They were people trained to kill and did so without any guilt or mercy.

Of course he knows they aren't just mindlessly killing people, they have a whole drug operation and killing is sort of like a side job for them. But damn, it doesn't make it less terrifying. Especially since he sees their chances of winning pretty low right at this moment.

He barely dodged another claw, the heat nipping at his skin as it skidded past. He grimaced before trying an attack of his own, which was interrupted by a punch to the gut.

He slid back by the sheer strength behind the punch, and instantly collapsed forward onto the ground before going into a spiral of coughs.

He got slightly worried about whether he was coughing blood because of the sheer force and impact it had on him. But when he checked the ground, he saw no blood and didn't taste the familiar metallic mixture in his mouth. But darn it, it didn't hurt any less and his stomach was definitely going to feel that one tonight.

If he even gets out alive.

He shook off the thought, opting to look back at the opponent.

Remi had taken over, and she looked like she wasn't fairing well either.

Whoever this agent was, they were much more powerful than the usual. And since they were missing Isen, they were in an even worse tactical advantage. He needed to end the fight as soon as possible, since he doesn't doubt there were reinforcements coming.

But how?

Sounds of clashing resulted from the fight as he staggered upwards, holding his stomach in pain. He saw Remi's face flash with slight pain as she got slashed slightly at the shoulder.

Fuck Blyke. Thinking won't help, you're just wasting time. You're not Isen, just do what you do best.

He concentrated his energy over all of his five fingers.

Blasting the shit out of things!

And released them over to the two. It seemed to stop their fight, as they both dodged out of the way.

Remi jumped over to him, while the agent went over to the other side of the roof.

"Are you alright?"

"Yeah," He huffed back in response, slightly surprised by such a question. Remi seemed to always have compassion even in situations like this.

He decided to resiprocate, glancing over at Remi, "What about you?"

In response she opened her mouth, but a blinding pain erupted in his left side interrupting their conversation. He screamed at the sudden pain, stumbling backwards before leveling out his instability. But that didn't matter to him because blood was gushing out from this wound that had formed on his left chest. His hands hovering over the wound, twitching.

That's when everything started to dull down, and the only thing he could focus on was the blood gushing out of him. He felt like someone was breathing right in his ears, but after a few moments he noticed it was him making that noise.

His feet then gave out from under him and the world started to tip. Soon he connected with something cold, and the only thing he could see was feet. He tried getting up, knowing that this view was wrong and he wasn't standing up anymore. But his body didn't seem to listen, and soon his mind started to feel drowsy. Slowly lulling him to sleep.

It happened in a matter of seconds, and the only thing she could do was watch helplessly before having to worry about not getting hit herself. Thankfully she was faring quite well at the moment, or at least better than before. Her ability probably being the deciding factor, since the agent seemed to not enjoy the shocks she gave to them. And therefore they were avoiding hand combat, and backing out once in a while before attacking her once again.
