Solo en Mis Ojos (Carlando & Lestappen)

Chapter 5

Lando and Carlos finish there walk and since Carlos is a gentleman he of course walks Lando to his door.

"Well, it was nice catching up with you Carlos. We can still meet up on Saturday. I hope that you will be able to teach me more spanish so I can communicate with your parents to impress them." Lando says having confidence that he can learn the language so he doesn't look like an ignorant tourist.

"Yeah, I believe in you and does around 11am sound good for Saturday?" Carlos asks.

"That would be perfect! See you then!" Lando says, whilst going into his door.

"See ya!" Carlos takes his leave.

Carlos walks down the cobblestone streets not expecting his walk to turn out this great.

"Carlosssss!" He hears his name yelled.

He looks over across the street to see the prema boys coming back from playing their sports. He stops as they Jay walk across the road to meet him.

"Where are you guys coming from?"  Carlos asks looking over the sports attire they are wearing.

"We just got done playing Futbol and basketball as a team." Arthur says.

"Oh sounds fun. I am just finishing my walk while the sun is out." Carlos says.

"Your not walking with anybody?" Oscar asks after of course all the boys seeing Lando's most recent Instagram photo with the first post being the 2 of them together.

"What do you mean?" Carlos asks still trying to play dumb about the fact that he walked with Lando earlier but never had checked insta recently.

"Nos sabemos Lando y tu estáis caminando junto! Porque vemos los fotos del ig de Lando. (We know Lando and you are walking together! Because we seen the photos from Lando's instagram.)" Arthur says knowing that his Spanish is useful when trying to catch Carlos red handed.

"¿Desde cuando tú sabes cómo hablar castellano? Y pues no Lando está en su casa ahora. Vaya mi casa ahora también. ( Since when did you know how to speak spanish? And well no Lando is in his house now. I am going back to my house now too.)" Carlos exclaims trying to see how much Arthur knows because if he is fluent he is fucked.

"I will translate!" Arthur yells and the boys then look at him waiting to know what the two men are conversing about.

Arthur gives a direct translation that is on point and for some reason the boys are smirking after listening to what he had had to say. This is scaring the shit out of Carlos because not only does Arthur know spanish which he never knew before but that all of the young gossipers know that he is in love with Lando.

"So Carlos, Lando not being here makes even better that we ask you questions. So have you asked him out yet? When do you all plan to get married?" Logan, Arthur and Oscar all ask in an orderly fashion.

"Shut up all of you! I haven't asked him out yet. He practically friendzones me unintentionally every time we see each other. He wants to go back to España as friends not boyfriends." Carlos finally says his internal struggles out loud which makes the boys look at him in pity.

"We can help you all! Well now that you admit that you are in love with Lando." Oscar says knowing his teammate also has a thing for Carlos but he is just to stupid to notice it.

"You all made plans to go to a beach cafe on Saturday right? Then you should say how you truly feel then. So that way he knows your true intentions." Arthur says this time switching to English so that he can help his friend properly.

"I can't that is too much. I don't think he is even close to thinking about me like that. So why would I put myself up for rejection." You can tell Carlos is just blabbering nonsense at this point. The Prema boys can't figure out what is the problem.

Lando and Carlos knew each other for a long time and they were even teammates at one point. So Carlos should at least feel comfortable around Lando to bring up this; in their opinion.

"In that case I guess we could help coach you on how to get Lando quicker." The prema boys look at each other and nod then look at Carlos and smile.

"Will you guys stop smiling it looks creepy to me. I suppose you all could help me out." Carlos instantly regretting those words but maybe this is a good thing.

"Great we will meet you tomorrow!" Arthur says.

The Prema boys leave Carlos alone and head the opposite way that is one lovesick puppy being helped, there is one more to go.

Meanwhile...

Charles and Max and Checo all finish up the press conference. Some people nonchalant about the questions others are kind of irritated by the questions they were asked.

They heads towards the hallway and Checo is the first one to leave the couple.

"Hey max!" Charles says getting Max's attention instantly. Charles doesn't know why but as soon as Max looked at him he feels really shy and blushing.

"I know you got that bottle of wine for me as a thank you present but would you like to share it with me possibly at my apartment tonight?" Charles says kind of stuttering it out because of how intensely Max is looking at him.

Max smiles," I am free tonight so I don't see why not. What time shall I meet you? And can you send me your address I have never been to your apartment." Max says looking calm and collected on the outside but in reality he is screaming in joy on the inside.

"Oh does around 8 work?" Charles asks and max nods in agreement.

"Great see you then!" Charles walks into his changing room. He is honestly thinking about what can go down tonight. But he knows he shouldn't be thinking about his friend the way he is now.

Max gets to his changing room and he can no longer mask his excitement. The smile that grew even more as he closed the door has yet to come off his face.

'OMG! Charles invited me to his house to share the wine with him!'

He gets his bags and stuff; heads towards his car.

Even though, they both in their respective houses and wanting to think that this just a meeting for friends to hang out they both know in reality it will be more than that.
