Chapter 27

It is now the weekend of the Sliverstone. Carlos and Lando have finish their romantic getaway after shutting their phones off from the outside world. Charles hasn't left Max's house and is honestly thinking about moving in with Max and selling his current house.

Lando and Carlos are currently getting ready to have dinner with Lando's parents and of course break the news that they are together romantically.

"Babe does this suit look fine?" Carlos says fixing the blazer of his 3 piece suit in front of the mirror whilst Lando rolls his eyes for the 100th time.

"I said you looked handsome in all of the past suits. And you have already met my parents before while you were sweating like a dog from racing. So what makes this time different than the rest?" Lando asks grabbing his wallet off the dresser and grabbing Carlos's hand while he was trying to fix his watch onto his wrist.

"Lando, Hang on-"

"Carlos! We ain't got time! I understand you want to look your best but in all honesty what do you think my parents will notice more the fact that you have an amazing fashion sense or the fact that by time we get to the restaurant we will be 30 minutes late?" Lando interrupts which makes Carlos shut up and just follow Lando to the Mclaren parked in the driveway.

Time skip~

They make it to the restaurant. Mr. and Mrs. Norris are already sitting at the reserved table. Each with a glass of wine in front of them. Once Lando's parents and the couple make eye contact with each other they get up and exchange hugs and cheek kisses. Once they all have greeted each other they sit down in their respective places. Lando immediately grabs Carlos's hands and gets straight to business.

"Mum, dad, Carlos and I are dating each other!" Lando announces and both of his parents start chuckling at the same time.

Carlos also starts to grin because at least someone is supporting their relationship and not being threatening to them.

"I don't understand how you can think your son's lover is a joke." Lando says jumping to conclusions.

"Sorry honey. But in all honesty are we supposed to be surprised. When Carlos was still at Mclaren he already acted like your "Work Boyfriend" so the fact that your telling us that he is your actually boyfriend is actually something that we already knew." Mrs. Norris says making both boys blush.

"I do have to ask tho. Is this the reason I got an email from Zak Brown saying that you were no longer apart of the team? Because he didn't exactly give us a reason." Mr. Norris asks which visibly makes Lando flinch at the name.

Before either Lando or Carlos can answer... Lewis and George show up at the end of the table. Lando sees them and instantly takes his hand away from Carlos's which makes Carlos look back at him.

"We are sorry to interrupt but we just thought we should come and say hi! Oh and Lando we heard that you are in a relationship with a man? who is it? Oh wait let me guess is it possibly the man sitting next to at the moment?" Both of the pricks smirk when they see the flames of anger appear in both Lando and Carlos's eyes.

Carlos grabs Lando's hand and interlocks their fingers once again.

"And if we are? Why the fuck is it your business? Congratulations you bastards know how to use your fucking eyes just like everybody else. And Mclaren will probably be releasing a public statement sooner or later." Carlos says glaring at the 2 gentlemen that are still rudely interrupting their family dinner.

"Have living under a rock the past few days? Mclaren already released a statement this past week saying that Lando is no longer part of the team due to unorthodox conduct... I guess we found out what they mean by that." George says

"Well I guess we better leave this family alone. Hope we didn't make things too tense. Oh! Also Carlos see you on the track for practice tomorrow. I am still surprised that Ferrari isn't firing you but than again I think they so desperate for a win that you and Leclerc could come out as anything and they would accept it." Lewis says walking away with George still laughing to themselves.

"Mum, dad I am sorry you had to hear-

Lando gets cut off by his father. Who faces Carlos and says," You are still racing tomorrow right? Carlos?"

Carlos nods.

"Than if you want to have our blessing to marry our son as soon as possible beat their arses!"

"I will most definitely do that Sir. Thank you."

Carlos and Lando look at each other and smile and the night goes on with small talk.

In London...

Charles and Max are kind of having the same feelings because Charles will be racing with no issues but since Max picked the supposed wrong side of Horner's ultimatum; Christian texted him saying this will be his last race instead of before which was Belgium being his last race.

"Max will you really be okay? I mean you have been racing the majority of your life even if him who shall not be named forced you, you still shouldn't be this calm." Charles says cuddling his boyfriend who is currently playing F1-23 on the sofa.

"I will be there to cheer you, Carlos, and Oscar on. And as I am doing it, I will be sitting with Lando who will also be cheering on his boyfriend. And if they put us on the Megatron to make a big deal out of it we will just flip off the camera. See all the problems solved." Max knows that he will miss racing but in all honesty, he is tired of always winning it has almost become boring for him. Probably if Horner didn't find out about his relationship with Charles and throw an absolute bitch fit, he probably would have started doing side quests to entertain himself in the middle of the race. Starting with probably driving lap 1 in reverse.

"Max you are taking this way too calm. Where is my boyfriend who likes to kick shit because he has anger issues? And why are you acting like you are not racing tomorrow? and instead cheering in the stands with Lando? You are still able to race tomorrow, it is just Christian said it will be your last." Charles said looking up at his boyfriend who still hasn't taken his eyes off the screen.

Max pauses his game.

"I don't care I have already achieved all the trophies you can so why do I care? And I am not racing tomorrow; I guess Christian will be down a driver and will have to solely rely on Checo because I ain't sitting in that seat. Will sitting in the stands with Lando because he is my friend and he shouldn't sit alone especially if him and I are going through the same thing. And as I will be sitting next to him supporting him, I will also be supporting my amazing boyfriend and all my friends who will compete against each other." Max says finally looking down to meet eyes with his boyfriend.

Charles is too filled with emotions from his boyfriend's exclamation that he leans in and kisses Max.

"I love you so much. And I will tomorrow because I know you will be watching."
