SIX YEARS AGO...

I can't wait. My old man once told me that, when a summoner first finds your card, they will form a contract. I can't wait for my summoner to appear! Jack hummed to himself cheerfully on his journey. Just like the human world, there were many places to see in the celestial world filled with celestial spirits.
Finally one day, when Jack was relaxing by a body of water, a transmutation circle appeared underneath him. Thi-this is a summoning? I'll get to meet my summoner! Jack laughed to himself.
He entered into the human world.
"You called for me, Master?" Jack said humble on one knee.
"Hmph, don't get cocky, spirit. Get him," the man said.
"Eh?"
Some men tackled Jack onto the ground. He stuggled, he was confused, scared for the first time. CLANK! Jack popped his eyes open. Chains?! Why?! Jack grunted. Another chain was trapped around his neck.
"You are my slave," the tall, built man smirked disgustingly.
Jack was speechless, for he was terrified.

............

"You're not moving fast enough!" Goran shouted at Jack. Goran Aldine, a 43 year old summoner who owns a large mansion and has three wives with 12 children total, the man who now is Jack's summoner. He is also the man in charge of a large industry that was well known.
"Master Goran, my legs and arms hurt," Jack managed from underneath a sack of coal that weighed over 400 pounds.
Goran grabbed his whip and slashed at Jack's leg causing him to bend down on one knee. "You should be thankful that I found a celestial spirit like you useful."
"But, I've been doing this for three months now nonstop. I'm - I'm exhausted," Jack exhaled.
Jack's complaint made Goran upset. He continued to whip Jack. Tears began to flow down and sweat appear from underneath his fur. This wasn't what I wanted to do. Not this! I can't even return back to the celestial world. He won't let me! Jack cried to himself in pain.
"At least I give you a place to sleep, and something to eat. Be thankful, you animal," Goran yelled and went back into his mansion. He handed his whip to his men. "Whip him if he stops working."
This is...HELL!

FOUR YEARS LATER...

I'm so cold. I don't care what happens anymore. I have such bad luck. I have even tried running away, however, I always wind up here again. Jack laid huddled by himself in a worn out shack. I...just want to die!

............

"Hurry up, you slow poke! You're stalling! Time is money," Goran tugged the chain around Jack's neck as he was pulling a cart full of coal. The cart was big enough for two bulls to pull it along.
They were walking through town to deliver the coal to one of his highest paying customers. Goran thought he would gain more reputation if he visited his customers in person for the first time. They were going through the City of Ail, a city filled with traders and marketing, one of the largest trade cities in the world.
As they were passing through, people glanced at Jack and whispered secretly, but he ready knew what they were talking about. He couldn't take the shame anymore. He was suppose to be a proud celestial spirit, but that's not possible, not anymore.

After their delivery was done, they started back to the mansion. It was midday.
"Hurry, your slowing me down! I want to get home before sunset," Goran pulled the chain causing Jack to stumble forward. He was tired. Nothing but constant chores and work. His eyes had no more shine; they looked like dead fish eyes, a pale grayish clouded color. I wish...something would happen...anything fine as long as it's not torture. Although Jack could have overpowered Goran, he couldn't do so. If a celestial spirit were to harm their summoners intentionally, they would be punished, even death would be a penalty.
As he trudged through the busy city, he heard an angry shout. He didn't care to pay attention. All he did was look down at his paw like foot and continued walking. He blinked. He saw a shadow above him. What the he-!
