On the night Nina was captured by Gin and was taken back to an abandoned castle that was renovated, where the fallen angels and god resided, Nina was falling in and out of consciousness. When Nina came to, she was being handed over to Luche, but kept her eyes closed and casted a spell onto herself so that she would have the pulse of someone who was unconscious despite already being awake. For the time being, I guess it's better to pretend I'm still asleep and figure out how to escape afterwards. Nina recognized that the way she was being carried by Luche was different from when she was being carried by Gin. Gin had flung her over his shoulder while Luche held her in his arms like a princess. His arms were strong, well-built, and somewhat familiar to Nina. But she was still on full alert.

When they reached a bedroom door, Luche dismissed Gin, and Gin walked away. The only other person that was left with Luche was Cain. Walking into the bedroom and gently placing Nina onto the bed, Luche pulled the blanket up to her chin and smiled, gently caressing her cheek.

"Does she mean that much to you?" Cain asked.

"Foolish question," Luche replied. "She is everything to me."

What does he mean I am everything to him. I don't even know him, Nina thought to herself.

"She saved me from the darkness," Luche replied. "But don't you think that's funny? I am Luche, the God of Darkness. All of the negative emotions and actions fall under me, yet, when I see her, I am saved. She may not remember me, but I remember her."

"Are you saying that she is your lover? This human?" Cain remarked in a calm tone.

"To me, I suppose. A sad, one-sided love. I'll never forget the day I meet her."

"So, what are you planning to do with her?"

"Nina? Nothing. I simply plan to live with her until these days of ours is over. This world and the people living on it does not deserve Nina, and you know it. But perhaps, I could get rid of those people from her memories," Luche replied.

"Are you talking about the Celestial King?"

Luche nodded, "But not just him. The King of Klein, the World Council, as well as the man who have caused me to fall this low."

"Are you sure, Lord Luche? You are basically wiping everything important to her," Cain addressed.

"If it'll keep her close to me, that's fine. We'll rebuild from there until our final moments," Luche lifted his hand from her cheeks up to her forehead.

Oh shoot! He's gonna erase me memories?! I have to do something! Nina panicked. She then balled her left hand and dug her nails into her palm to the point where she bled. I hope this works.

Luche's fingers then lit up upon her forehead. As a silver violet light glowed from his hand, Nina felt her muscles relaxing, stress fading from her mind.

"Oh, that's right," Luche remembered. Suddenly, an excruciating force slammed into Cain head on, driving him across the room through several walls. "Just because I allowed you to speak your mind, don't forget where you stand, Cain."

Stumbling up from the rumble, he got onto one knee and bowed his head, "Forgive me, Lord Luche, for stepping out of line."

The lights then diminshed from Luche's fingers. He then smiled and leaned in, kissing her on her forehead, "I'll see you when you wake up, Nina."

And with that they both left the room as the walls were repaired instantly. Making sure they were both gone, Nina then slowly peeked her eyes open and let out her breath, sighing in relief as she sat up. She looked to her bloodied palm, which surprisingly no longer hurt, "Guess it worked, huh." She then lifted up her other hand to touch her forehead, where Luche touched and kissed. Why is it that I am not afraid of him? Like I trust him? He seems familiar, but I don't remember seeing him or ever meeting him. I wonder why I feel like this? Nina wondered. She then tucked her amulet inside her shirt.
