Ever since then, Rolan has been thinking about Nina and her father. They continued to venture throughout the kingdom for the next few days. They bought food supplies, herbs, medicine and clothes. Then it all came down to a serious problem.
Nina, Gin and Rolan were inside a bar, sitting down with serious expressions.
"This is serious," Nina whispered.
"I can't believe it," Rolan said almost surprised.
"I told you to be careful," Gin sighed.
Nina dropped her head into her palms and sighed, "Only 10 gold pieces left..."
"That's why I told you to be careful with what you buy," Gin reminded.
"I am! Everything we bought is necessary, " Nina claimed.
"A flower vase? Really?" Gin pointed out.
"Well, you never know when it comes in handy..." Nina mumbled.
"Okay, guys, calm down. We'll just figure something out," Rolan said calmly.
Nina sighed. "After this, we'll be down to 4 gold pieces left."

"Your majesty, please do your paperwork instead of fooling around," his advisor said.
King Damon was twirling his pen around from boredom, he sighed. He ran his hand through his golden hair and stood up.
"Your majesty?"
"I want to have a moment for myself," he said calmly.
His advisor bowed and moved out of his way. Damon wore an elegant suit that shimmered, white and gold embodiment of his royalty. He walked into the garden and saw his servants. Then something caught his eye. A little girl swinging a golden mask around, That mask-!
He walked over quickly but calmly. As soon as the servants saw him, they gasped in shock and quickly moved onto their knees bowing in the presence of the king.
"Your majesty," the older woman said quietly.
He shifted his gaze to the little girl and bent down to one knee before her. "Lift your head up, little one."
The little girl sat up and looked at him, holding the mask in her lap.
"That mask, where'd you get it?" He asked.
"From this pretty girl with beautiful black hair," she whispered shyly.
Black hair... Damon thought to himself. "Mind if I see it?" He asked gracefully.
"Here!" She squealed and handed him the mask.
Damon gently took the mask into his hands and ran his fingers along the gems and designs. Flashbacks appeared in his mind again. He handed the mask back, "Thank you. Have a nice day everyone," he said, stood up and left.
As he walked back into the palace, he held his right hand tightening his fist in remembrance. Black hair... Interesting.

Nina was walking around with Rolan. He felt awkward with her after knowing how her father died. It wouldn't make sense for her to kill her father and come back for his death anniversary and perform such a dance, Rolan thought. They were looking through some of the food markets. Then Nina turned around and smiled. Rolan looked over to her.
"Twins," Nina whispered.
Rolan looked over to the twins. They were identical twins, boys, about the ages of 8. The only difference was one had freckles on his nose while the other didn't. The boys were waiting outside for their parent who were inside a shop. They were eating. The boy with freckles finished his pear and frowned sadly.
"Lucas, I finished mine," he said.
Lucas was about to take a bite out of his, bit looked over, "Are you still hungry?"
The boy nodded his head shyly. Lucas looked at his and smiled handing it over to him.
"Lucas?" The boy said looking up to him.
"You can have it, Henry. Since I'm older, it's my responsibility to look after you," Lucas said proudly.
"But-"
"It's okay. Mama and Papa are going to buy more later. You need to eat more in order to get strong," Lucas pointed out.
"What about you?"
"I'm perfectly fine. I'm strong. And as oldest, it's my job to protect my younger sibling," Lucas placed his hand on top of Henry's head and smiled, "We are one after all."
"That's pretty deep," Nina whispered to Rolan and they started walking back towards camp.
As they walked past an alley, Nina came across an interesting conversation. Two men where talking about beautiful women being auctioned in the kingdom tomorrow, right on the edge on Klein.
"Illegal auctioning?" Rolan whispered.
"Most likely. Let's keep moving."
