Nina's eyes shook as the sight of the angel who has come down to earth. "W-What are you doing here?"
The angel smiled. "Hm? Wasn't it you who called for me?" He said in his low echoing voice.
As other people saw the light and gazed upon the angel Nina saw clearly, all they saw was a glowing bright light with a blurred shape of a human spouting with wings. Unlike Nina, they didn't see every single distinctive detail of the being, only the blurred figure. And they could only come to the conclusion, it was an angel who has come down to earth. From where Gin, Ruen, Khan, Damon and Luka stood, they could see the bright beautiful light in which was illuminating from the angel and headed toward the light source.
Time was still moving very slowly for Nina, " ... What do you mean?" She asked.
"My tears were spilled, were they not? From that vial beneath you," the angel smiled.
Nina realized and lifted her foot. And sure enough, Nina gasped, "I'm sorry! I didn't realize it had such value!"
The angel smiled and looked around, "It's quite alright and besides, this seems like the appropriate time for me to do some purification."
"Purification?"
"That's correct. I am Arkelenia, the Angel of Purification," he answered in his low echoing voice.
Nina just stared in awe. As the angel turned around and flexed his pure snow white colored wings, Nina felt her heart flutter with a sense of relief. The angel then disappeared from sight and was now standing before the berserk old dragon. "It seems like you've been infected by a rather strange and strong magic, ancient one," Arkelenia said.
He whipped out his winged staff and tapped the bridge of the old dragon's nose with the tip of his staff. From the touch, a radiant sparkling golden light exploded and swallowed the old dragon. Coming from all sides, various night screechers charged in to attack him. He spun around with his staff extended and swiped his staff in a horizontal direction. With a 72ft distance in between, he managed to purify them all without physically touching them. The screechers squealed and cried as a golden light ate them away starting from their toes. As the golden light ate them, they dispersed into golden specs and returned to Arkelenia's winged staff transferring the energy to him. Nina watched, but quickly snapped back to reality as she realized there were many injured people who needed help and went to their aid. The golden light that swallowed the old dragon, Gremlli, suddenly unveiled itself apart from him, taking away a black, glowing substance from within him. After all of the black substance had exited from Gremlli's body, the golden veil of light wrapped around the substance, rolling it into a ball the size of a golf ball.
Arkelenia zipped over and retrieved the small sphere. After obtaining the sphere, he said, "I will take this sample with me and examine it with the others to determine what kind of magic it is." He looked at the other dragons he had to purify and said to himself, "But I can completely purify the others."
Gremlli, fully awake and in control, bowed his head before the heavenly being. I cannot be more grateful towards you, Arkelenia of purification, to have saved me from such pain. And if I may make such a selfish request, please, save my children and grandchildren.
The angel smiled and answered, "Gremlli of the Night dragons, that request will be answered unconditionally."
Suddenly, within a blink of an eye, he zipped from one end to the other. He had made contact with every single dragon and screecher who were airborne at that moment, purifying them. All the dragons who were purified remained airborne as they were reassured by Gremlli. All that's left are the screechers on land who have been feasting, Arkelenia said to himself. He looked over to Nina who was no longer paying attention to him but to those in danger around her instead. Arkelenia gave a soft gentle smile as he slowly came down onto the ground. As soon as he fully touched the ground, from beneath his feet, a golden light came surging out and expanded throughout the entire city, covering it all in a sheer golden light. The golden light purified the screechers who were feasting, those who were hidden and those who weren't facing him at the time. As quickly as it came, the golden light slowly diminished. Around and underneath him on the pavement ground grew the greenest grass and the most beautifully colored flowers. It had grown and expanded to becoming a radius of 8 meters from where Arkelenia stood, and was still continuing to blossom slowly. The grass and flowers had a soft glow like the angel himself which shined quite radiantly against the dark night.
