SOPHIE ROLLED OVER, groaning in annoyance as she slammed her hand on her alarm clock, which had been going off for the past minute now. She sat up in bed, rubbing her left eye as if to rub the sleepiness away.
She reached over and grabbed her phone, scrolling through her notifications. There were at least ten from Biana, her bestfriend, which were normal. A few from her sister Amy asking her what to get for Linh's, another one of her friends, birthday. Then she suddenly became aware of the date.
July 14th. Keefe and her's childhood anniversary.
They hadn't seen each other since ten years ago, and only recently had they reunited and started dating. Sophie smiled at the thought.
She decided to do something special, since it was their ten year friend-anniversary. She scrolled through her pictures, selecting a few from when they were young and editing a few things..

Sophie smiled, starting to put her phone away. Her notification sound dinged and she clicked on the notification that appeared at the top of her screen.

Sophie smiled, shaking her head slightly. She got up out of bed and went into her walk-in closet. When she came out, she was wearing a white crop top, jeans that were cuffed at the ends, and she'd just decided to lightly curl her hair. She threw on white flip-flops, grabbed her car keys, and ran out to her car.

"I'm here!" Sophie panted, hands on her knees as she stood on a dock in front of the lake, where Keefe was sitting on the edge of it with his feet dangling in the water.
He turned and smiled at her, standing up and walking towards her.
"So I found this picture Edaline took of us when we were little and I thought we could recreate it. It's not the exact same 'backdrop', but it was the closet I could find," Keefe explained.
Sophie leaned in closer to the picture.

Sophie grinned. "I remember that! I'm pretty sure my legs were tired and you had to carry me back home or something."
Keefe raised an eyebrow at her. "Um, no. You pretended that your legs were tired so that I'd carry you back home."
Sophie's cheeks blazed red. "Same thing! Anyway, how are we supposed to recreate it?"
"Like this," Keefe said simply, hoisting her onto his back with a small grunt.
Biana popped out of the bushes, scaring Sophie. "Im taking the picture, in case you were wondering. Ready?"
Sophie and Keefe both nodded and Biana began to count down.
"Three..."
"..Two...."
"...One!"
A flash appeared and then Biana squealed. "Eek! I'm posting this on my story."
