I just realized that I haven't done Wylinh, Dexiana, Marellex, *sigh* Sofitz, or other ships that I'm currently unaware of because I'm brain-dead from school.

So I'll be doing a double (technically triple, since I uploaded somewhere between 5:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. yesterday?) and being VERY NICE for y'all despite me being on the..y'know, girls..the "special week of the month".

So apologies if I respond to your comments and sound a bit rude or just overall not how I would typically respond. Anyways, enjoy this..Sofitz oneshot 😒😗

(I actually couldn't think of anything to write about, so this is just an alternate ending of when Sofitz broke up, and instead Fitz is just caring instead, I guess?

Also, forgot to tell you guys! I also do alternative endings, so just let me know the chapter and I'll do my best to remake it)

"Not that I'm, like, not happy to see you," Fitz noted as Sophie glittered onto the pastures of Havenfield with Sandor right behind her. "But what are you doing here?"

Sophie blinked. "Um, this is my house...?"

Fitz's eyes widened. "Oh shoot! Sorry I thought you were..someone else," he said, then quickly changed the subject. "Where were you?"

Sophie tensed. She didn't want to tell him, not yet. Right now it would only cause more problems, for her and Fitz. "I was just at Elwin's," Sophie lied, surprised at how easily the words flowed out of her mouth. Maybe because she'd said them so many times it was almost second nature to her.

Fitz's eyes narrowed. "And why were you at Elwin's?"

"Because I had a, uh, headache!" Sophie said and forced herself to smile. At least it wasn't a total lie. She really did have a headache from everything that had just happened.

"When will you learn that I know when you're lying to me, Sophie?" Fitz asked, coming closer and stopping right in front of her. "Tell me. Please."

Sophie shook her head. "I can't, Fitz, I just can't," she said.

Those were the words that had destroyed their relationship mere minutes later.

Those were Fitz Vacker's dying words.

Those were the words that plagued Sophie's dreams.

And those were the final words of the Neverseen as their organization fell years later.

"I can't."

408 words.

AHH, I ACTUALLY REALLY hate to admit it, but I kind of like the angstyness of this one. Also, I'm about to go sob in a corner because I just finished the Hunger Games trilogy and I'm literally so sad. Anyways, I hope you enjoyed!

Happy Reading,
