Human AU

"I want a cat," A very drunk Linh suddenly announced, spinning around in Wylie's desk chair at his desk. "A cute one. I'll name it Princess Purryfins. Or maybe Fairy Godmother."

Wylie chuckled. "And how do you expect we get that cat without your brother trying to murder us?"

"He's a total softie," Linh slurred. "He loves pets, he just tries to act all tough."

"Interesting," Wylie said, grinning. He finally had something to blackmail his brother-in-law with.

Linh just groaned and flopped onto the floor, smushing her face against the fuzzy carpeting. He crossed the room with practiced ease and helped his wife up, supporting her with his arm around her waist.

He led her over to their shared bed and gently laid her down. The poor girl was already knocked out cold.

That's what you get when you decide to go drinking with friends, Wylie thought to himself with a slight frown. Seriously, what was she thinking?

Linh Song was one of those people who couldn't drink even a full cup of alcohol before getting drunk. So, pretty much everytime their friend group convinced them to go for a few drinks, Wylie makes sure that he doesn't drink since Linh is pretty much guaranteed to get wasted.

"Cat," Linh mumbled in her sleep.

The next morning, a tabby-colored kitty with a pink ribbon tied around its neck was sitting on her nightstand, along with a note that said,

If you wanted a kitten, you could have just asked.
