Chapter 2

"Hey Sparks, what's up?"

My childhood friend, Denki Kaminari.

   "Hi Kami." I reply in tears. "Oh no, what happened? What did that bitch do? Do you want me to kill her? Hold up, I'm coming right now!" I heard some loud rustling through the phone before he hung up. Three minutes later I heard a knock at my window. It was Kami and Mina. "Sparks! Let us in so we can comfort you!" I giggle through tears and open the window. He jumps through the window and falls on his side with a loud 'thunk' while Mina quietly steps in. "WHAT WAS THAT?!" My mother screamed furiously. I roll my eyes. "Nothing, Mom! I just dropped something!" I yell back. I hear her groan as if she's annoyed; That fucking bitch. If anyone should be annoyed, it's me!

   Kami laughs before plopping down on my bed. "I brought Mina along for some moral and sassy support!" I giggle. "So, what has that bitch done to my Sparks?" He asked teasingly. "Right! What did she do to you, girl?" She asked with the same tone as Kami. "It was a normal day of chores, right?" They nod. "I had just finished cleaning the bathrooms and the living room. My mom, as always, came in complaining about how long I was taking to clean. I ended up letting my sass slip a bit too much, and she slapped me." They both fall back in shock. "It didn't do any damage but it still hurt so I ran out of the house before I broke down in tears and it got worse." They recollect themselves. "I had ran outside to find the closest alleyway to cry in, but some people were already there!" They both gasp.

   "There was this black haired dude, who looked to be about 6 feet tall, and he was talking to a shorter dude, calling him 'boss'. I was curious, so I stayed longer, of course." They nod in agreement. "I got a better look of the taller guy, and he was pretty good-looking. Anyways, they kept talking and stuff, but one of them made me laugh, and I almost got caught! So I sprinted away, but on my way back to the store, some creep was trying to make me go somewhere with him!" They both jumped up in excitement. "OOOH! What'd you do???" They asked, their eyes sparkling with anticipation. "I drop-kicked his ass." They high fived me.

   "Then those two came towards me, and I got to see both of them clearly. The blonde was, y'know, blonde, about 5'11, and had these piercing red eyes that made me wanna die right then and there. The other one was about 6 ft. tall, dark black hair in an undercut and deep black eyes that you could get lost in. Anyways, when I finished beating up the creep, they were right in front of me. We started talking, and I got to hang out with them. The shorter one's name is Katsuki Bakugo, while tall dudes' name was Hanta Sero." While they were processing all the information I just gave them, something popped up into my head. "Hold on. I need Google Translate, real quick." They both tilt their heads in confusion. "What for?" They both asked in unison. "Sero speaks Spanish, so half of the time I don't understand what he's saying." I shrug.

   "Wait wait wait wait wait wait wait, WHAT?!" Mina asked in surprise. "Half Japanese, Half Hispanic. It's pretty cool if you ask me." Denki says. "Let me finish the story first, though. So yeah, I met them, and Blondie has some huge anger issues. I ended up beating his ass over something he took too seriously." Denki patted me on the back. "Then my mom called me, shocker." I rolled my eyes and frowned. "She asked me where I was, brought up my ex, called me disgusting, and was the huge homophobic prick she is." My friends scooted closer and comforted me. "When she hung up, I started having a minor panic attack. Not too bad, just heavy crying for a bit. Anyway, I finally went to the store and the boys came with me. Then, when it came time to pay, Sero and I were arguing over who was going to pay, and then Katsu came up with the idea that we split it, so we did." Mina and Denki hugged me really tightly.

   "I'm good, really." I assured them. "Plus, we're meeting back up tomorrow, so that should be fun." I shrugged. Mina stood up and started looking through my clothes. "Mina, what're you doing?" I asked. "Well, I'm sleeping over to make sure you don't screw this up." She says. "Don't worry, girl, I got you!" She assured. "Alrighty! I gotta go before my parents figure out I'm gone, later!" Denki says. "Aw man! Do you really have to go, Kami?" I whine. "Yeah, but don't worry. I'll just see you tomorrow, k Sparks?" I nod. I open my window back, and he climbs out. Mina grabbed a pair of pj's and fell right asleep on the couch in my room.
