SHE'S DEAD!!!

I woke up to the sound of my door being opened. "Y/n, can I sleep with you? I'm so cold!" My mother whined as she jumped on top of me. "JEEZ!" I yelled. "I'm not your personal heating pad! Get offa me!" I complained and threw her off. "Ouchy..." She sniffled. "Oh my god. Mom, I'm sorry!" I apologised. "Come on, let's get you some water and go to bed." I lifted her off the ground. When I reached the kitchen, I saw my brother sitting on the couch. "Hey, Nei. What's up?" I asked.

"I'm tired. How do you possibly deal with this woman?" He complained like a spoiled brat. "I dunno. I just got used to it." I shrugged. "Welp. I better head home. See you later, N/n." He kissed my forehead and walked out. I waved goodbye and took my mom to her room. "Ok. You got your water now, go to bed." I said, laying her down and covering her up. "Mk." She yawned, snuggling into her bed. I was about to walk out when she called me. "Yeah?" I answered. "I'm sorry. I'm not sure what for, but it felt right to say it." She smiled. "Thanks. Night, mom." I said, turning off her light and closing her door.

As I walk back to my room, I hear a loud thud. I sprinted towards my room to see Kami on my bedroom floor, face down. "Kami? What the hell are you doing here?" I asked in shock. "Hey, Sparks. I just wanted to check on my bestie. Is that a problem?" He asked, pouting. "Of course not. But warn me next time." I said as I helped him up. We sat on my bed, and I felt happy, confused, and nervous. "Did I miss anything?" He asked, looking at me expectedly. "Um yeah." I chuckle nervously.

I spent the next 30 minutes explaining to Kami about what happened. There were multiple 'oooo's coming from him throughout the explanation. All about Neito's mansion, his boyfriend, everything. Then I got to the worst part. "Ok, so when I reached my house, Sero was there. A little creepy, right? Right. Just know that throughout the whole day, my phone was off. He had told me that he had called over and fucking over. I let him in my house and we started talking." Kami nodded. "He ended up telling me that he wants me to move in with him, because he doesn't like the fact that I still live wih my mom." His jaw dropped. "I know!" I hug my knees tightly.

"It sounds like a good idea, but once my mom figures out what I did, she'll have my ass! And Sero will obviously get tired of me being there -" "Damn, do you ever get tired?" Kami asked. "Tired of what?" "Overthinking." He said. "Not really. It just comes naturally to me." I explained. "I think that's a great idea. Plus, I'll be there, too!" Kami smiled.

"What do you mean you'll be there?" I asked. "Oh! Uhhh," He started with a guilty face. "Ok. May as well tell you." I cocked my head to the side, confused. "Ok, so I work wi- actually, me and Mina work with Sero, Katsuki, and Kirishima. We're a bit of a mafia group. Well, no. We are a mafia group. Your brother is, too." I was about to cut him off, but he stopped me. "I know what you're going to say, but please trust me." He begged.

I nodded, signaling that he could continue. "There are 4 major mafia in our area. But that's not really important right now. I just wanted to let you know because I hated lying to you for so long." He took a big breath before looking at me with caring eyes. "Why didn't you tell me earlier? It's not like I would completely hate you or some shit." I rolled my eyes. "Listening to this now, it might be better to move in with you guys." Kami's eyes lit up. "But wait. With you guys and my brothers' group all being Mafia, you're all against each other, and I'm in the middle! What the fuck?! So basically, what you're fucking telling me is that I have to choose between my fucking brother and my best, and only fucking friends?!" I shouted.

Kami hesitantly nodded. I haven't seen my brother in forever so he feel like a stranger to me, but at the same time, Sero still is a stranger. I mean sure I've been to his house and I know everyone that's also there, but still! Can I really trust him? "I'm not sure about this anymore, Kami. Don't get me wrong, I love you and Mina, but I love my brother, too!" I pace back in forth, overwhelmed. "I know, Sparks. I just don't want to see you hurt anymore, and I'm sorry for dumping all of this on you now." Kami apologised.
