"Yaaaay schools out I'm really glad I got out of this hell hole." Lizzy said as she put her arms up and stretched. "Yea you said it, hey Mel you think we can have a sleepover after the graduation"? China had ask turning towards me. "Yea I'll ask my dad when we leave for the graduation" I said while walking down the street from our school Forsa HighSchool. "Maaan I can't believe we always have to play for graduation it takes too long!" Lizzy complain, "it's not that big of a deal, if it makes you feel better it's our last time playing" I said. "Oh yea danng I can't believe were seniors next year and I get to spend it with y'all I love y'all, my squad". China grabbed us and hugging us, "even after we graduate we still be in contact right homies?" I said hyped up "hell ya M.C.L TrapHouse" that was our "groups name". I walked ahead waving at them goodbye they both lived at the F.C apartments, and I lived down the street. As I was walking I put on my headphones and listen to music going with the beat as I walk. When I got home I saw a truck I didn't know who's truck it was, "I walked up the door and opened and everything was gone I panicked and went into my room everything was gone, my walls were purple now they're white. "Dad!!" "Where are you?!" I went to his room and it was empty completely it looked bigger he was just sitting there with his suitcase with a depressed look. I ran up to him "hey dad, you okay?" "What happen to our stuff" he looked up at me with teary eyes "she left me, she left me Melody I tried I really did she took the kids your brother and sister, I don't know what I'm gonna do". He broke down in front of me I just didn't know what to do I never seen him like this, all I could do was hug him. "Dad I couldn't imagine what you're going through but I'm here with you I'm not going to leave you". He hugged me tightly and looked up at me and said "Melody I'm afraid you're going to have to leave me too". My eyes widen "wait why"? "No I'm not going anywhere". he cut me off "Melody listen to me I'm not stable at all, I need help I'm just going somewhere for a little while". "On the meantime your aunt Lucy would look after you". "No fuck that I'm not going anywhere I want to stay with you"! "Melody please baby, do this for daddy I promise once I get out I'll come for you", I teared up "fine I'll go but you better promise you'll come back" he smiled "I promise baby you're my only one left now, I won't leave you" we hugged for what seems like hours he kissed my forehead "your stuff is already in the truck" I walked toward the door opening it looking back at my dad and waving "I love you dad, never forget our promise" as I walk out the door I was walking away the life I once knew.
