Here's Where I Begin

I stood quiet in the truck looking at the window staring thinking "why did this happen"? I didn't even want to talk at all I guess my Aunt Lucy understood and didn't say a word. We been driving for 3 hours now and I'm getting kinda frustrated the fact that my life complete change or how am I going to get it back on track I have a freakin year to figure it out. Me and my aunt Lucy really aren't close I remember when I was younger I used to play with her daughter Minnie but that was long time ago. Not to mention they had move to Peach Creek, never actually been there. We finally arrived and it's actually not as small as I thought it would be. I got out the car and grab my things that my dad had pack, "I'll call Minnie out here to help you" Lucy ran inside calling for Minnie I headed inside "Melody!!!" The brown hair girl with hazel eyes ran up to me and hugged me with such force, "Hey Min how you been"? I said with a smile as I hugged her back. "I been good, look I heard and it's going to be okay" I looked down, she patted my head "come on let me show you to your room" she opened the door "sorry we only have two rooms so you're stuck with me, don't worry I moved all my stuff out the way so you have you're own space". "Thanks I appreciate what you and Lucy are doing I really need y'all at this moment". "Sorry I'll probably be all depressed", "D'aww you're just the cutest" Minnie ran up to me and hugged me again. "Hey I'll show you around town and where the school would be at and the mall!!" She grabbed my hand and dragged me out, when I got outside I saw a guy with orange hair and had a "Quiz Bowl" hat he came from the house next door. "Guess that's our neighbor" Minnie turned around "uqh yea he's Kevin he's not interesting he's a boring nerd". I laughed "you haven't changed" I said quietly, "what was that"? "Nothing" we started walking down the street and Minnie kept going on and on about how many cute guys there are or how her friends are going to like me or something. Of course I didn't even care about guys to me honestly guys are unfaithful at least the ones I dated, then again I have bad taste in men. "Melody you know they're are very cute guys but the most sexiest is Eddward Vicent, he's so gorgeous with his blue eyes and his perfect body not to mention he's team captain of the swimming team, and to top it all he's personality is dark". "No girl ever tried to get close or he never gets to them either", "it sounds if someone had a crush" I teased she blushed "nooooo" "haha sure you don't". She smiled and looked down "I did like him I even confessed, but he wasn't interested". "All he said was, 'sorry I don't have time to be playing kid games with someone I don't even know'" I looked at Minnie "well maybe he has his own problem, or he must have gone through something bad"? I tried to make her feel better, "he has a lot I heard his parents are never there when he gets home and a accident happen long ago with his best friends, I guess since I always admire his looks and skills it's my fault that I didn't learn how he truly was and ignore the stuff he was going through" I changed the subject "hey Min let's go get some ice cream it's really hot out here" she smiled "yea". We went to the mall and head to "Icee Sweets" I sat down on the tables, "hey what would you like it's on me" "oh no Min it's okay I got mone-" "No it's on me, Chocolate Mint"? I smile "you got it" she went inside, I waited when I looked at alley between two building it was dark but I could see 3 tall figures and a small figure. I ran and when I got there I was frozen I was witnessing a fight, holy shit it's Kevin he's getting pushed up against the wall with a fist close to his face "Hey you, what are you doing here" a boy with a piece of wood that had a drawn face on it. "Y-you shouldn't b-be d-d-doing this here" I was shaking really bad I couldn't speak right at all. The tall figure who was holding Kevin dropped him and turned to me, he had a leather hood, red shirt, black combat boots, black skinny jeans, and a beanie with white stripes and two piercing on his left ear, he came walking up to me and lean forward "now sweet face you shouldn't be getting involved since it's not any of your concern", he grinned I didn't know what to say I just stood there. "Hmm got no response"? "Hey you let Kevin go, and leave my cousin out of this" I turned around and saw Minnie "oh~ if it isn't the 'I admire you so much Eddward' girl hmm I wouldn't believe you're with this nerd are you"? She gripped her fist "y-yes he's my friend and you shouldn't be doing this" "oh really so that means you moved on to him"? "See I thought you were a fast girl I don't like girl like you I think they're ugly". I looked at Minnie and saw tears roll down her eyes, I don't know what came over me but I snapped "how could you say stuff like that"? "Do you have a heart"? "You could just hurt people and smile at their sadness and for me to actually feel sorry for what you have been through" I started cry I don't know if it's because I know what Minnie's feeling or even Eddward's. Eddward grin and walked toward me "I don't know why you're even crying, crying over unnecessary things like this". Eddward starts to walk away "if it makes you feel any better sweet face I take it all back even for bullying pumpkin over there" his crew followed him I notice the curly hair boy with the ring braced stopped, "hey girl I don't know what you're thinking but don't take this too lightly he's probably feeling generous and you wimp we'll be back" then he started to walk away following the other two. Minnie ran up to me "I'm so sorry Melody I didn't mean to put you in that situation" "it's okay Minnie it's my fault because I caused this" I look at Kevin shaken and kneed down "hello Kevin I'm Melody and this is Minnie it's very nice to meet you", he smiled and shook my hand "it's nice to meet you too".
