Divided Feelings

I can't believe half of the semester is almost over, Finals were coming up and boy was everyone stressing. I wasn't stressing too bad I had good grades and always paid attention in class. The only subject I was worried about was History, everyone has been so busy I haven't been hanging out with them especially Kevin. That boy was a studious freak always studying even during passing periods. Eddward's been focusing on practices and has a big meeting coming up and the sad part is I won't be able to see him for 3 days! He had invited me and I wanted to go, but I have to practice for marching band and a competition is coming up and we're trying to make it to Area.

I woke up earlier than I normally do, I wanted to say bye to Eddward before he leaves. I leave before Minnie, that girl needs her sleep or else she'll be in a bad mood all day. I walk to school and it was really dark outside I was kind of scared but man up and sped walk. I arrived to school and walked into the gym and saw Eddward.

"Sharky"!

He turned towards the direction my voice came from and he waved. "Hey Sweetface came to give me a goodbye kiss"?

I blushed "stop your flirting I just wanted to tell you good luck and bring home the gold"!

"Anything for you queen", he grabbed my hand and kissed it.

I snatch my hand away out of embarrassment.

"Kitten"! A familiar face approaches me, I looked at him confused.

"Hi, remember me"?

"She doesn't go away", Eddward rolled his eyes.

"Don't be so stingy captain I won't steal her from you", he smirk.

"Like if she wanted you to", Eddward replied annoyed.

"It's Jacob" he smiled.

"Oh hello Jacob nice to see you again", I smiled back.

"You're here pretty early that's girlfriend material right there" he teased.

I began to turn red, "n-no it's not like that I just wanted to say bye".

"Sure Kitten" he smirked.

"Jacob shouldn't you be loading your equipment".

"Shit you're right Captain, nice seeing you again cutie" he winked at me.

"B-bye" I stuttered.

"Sorry Melody for his immaturity".

I blushed he said my name again, "it's fine" I said quietly.

He looked at me with confusion "are you okay, your face is so red". He reached his hand out and gentle touched my forehead with the back of his hand.

Out of surprised I stepped back "I'm fine" I said trying to avoid eye contact.

He had a worried expression but soon changed to a slight smile.

"Alright boys time to load the bus"! The coach announced.

"I'll see you later then" I said with a smile.

"Yea" he replied looking down, he then approach me getting closer I can feel my heart beginning to race. He lower his head making his face level to mine, I reacted by closing my eyes and I felt his gentle lips on my forehead. I looked up at Eddward's icy blue eyes and felt my face getting hot.

"Eddward what was that for"?

"Just felt like doing it, later Sweetface" he said grinning.

I stood there watching him walk away I collapse to the ground, I felt if my heart was popping out of my chest all that kept going through my head was his eyes and the sensitivity he left on my forehead I never realized how much I like Eddward it was driving me nuts! I finally came to my senses and got up and headed towards the band hall. It was still early so I decided to take a nap, I slid down the wall and hugged my knees and bury my face. I fell fast asleep I was awaken by someone knocking on the doors I looked up and couldn't really see anything my vision was blurry haven't caught on yet. I stood up and open the door when I can finally see clearly I saw it was a girl with long brown hair and orange eyes, she was slender but had curves. She was taller than me and had amazing facial features, she had on a big maroon sweater and black legging with cream color flats, honestly she can be taken for a model.

"Hi thank you for opening the door" she smiled.

"No problem" I said I walked back to my spot and sat down.

"Are you new here"? She asked me.

I gave her a confused looked but still answer "uh not really I'm been here all year".

"Oh but have you been here for the past years"?

"No just this year".

"Okay I knew it because I would've remembered your face, you're really pretty" she complimented me.

"Thank you" I said embarrassing knowing she was way more attractive than me.

"I'm Jasmine Lopez".

Holy shit is this Eddward's ex?! I'm not certain but I wouldn't be surprised if it was her I can see why he would like her, she seems nice, has a nice face carries herself property she was everything I wasn't. Honestly thinking about this made me depressed but soon snapped out of it.

"I'm Melody Bruno".

She grabbed my hands "it's a pleasure to meet you Melody, I must be going now I still have to enroll for next semester hope we can become great friends"! She let go and left I felt kind of irritated, I have no chance going against her. She's perfect honestly if she's the "Jasmine" I know without a doubt Eddward would choose her. I felt like crying I honestly don't know why I was bother by this, I'm not going through what I did with Evan I should just stop. The only problem is I'm already attached to Eddward this really sucks.

Jasmine

I walked to get away from her view and let out a chuckle that girl is so ridiculous her facial expressions make me sick. She's the gullible type, I hated her face.

"Long time no see" a voice I knew all too well.

"Hello Jimmy how are you, are you do-"

"Cut the bullshit you can't fool me with your act".

"Tsk still a asshole I see".

"Might be a asshole but you're far worse".

"What do you want Jimmy"?

He walked up to me with his hands in his pocket.

"Just wanted to chat and catch up".

I smirked "sure you do".

"What are you up to Jasmine", he asked bluntly.

"Who"? "Me"? "Nothing at all why do you ask"?

"It's just every time you're around it reeks of horse shit".

"I'm hurt Jimmy we used to be so close, the four of us.

"Please, I never trusted you I was just playing along".

I let out a laugh "what a best friend you are trying to protect your precious Eddward"?

"He can take care of himself I know how you truly are and I'm only gonna say this once, stay away from-" I  interrupted, already getting annoyed.

"I thought Eddward was a big boy"?

"Not him, Melody".

"Bruno"? I laughed contagiously "I met her moments ago, what you already have another girl"?  "How do you go from Sarah to her, then again you always had bad taste". "Don't worry I'm not interested in her".

"She isn't mine she's Eddward's".

I stopped laughing "so he found someone after all".

"Jasmine don't try anything".

"Pfft I don't need to because once he sees me all the feelings and memories will come back to him". I started walking away "I was his first anyways".
