~Football Game~
I was in the stand with my snare playing stand tunes, it sucks because I'm at the top and I don't know anybody but Nat in my section. Kevin and Nazz but they both are woodwinds and brass section so they're at the bottom. I looked around to see if Edd was here, but no sign of him at all.

"That jerk, he said he'll be here".

"Who's a jerk"?

I turned and saw Edd with his gang

"Oh hey you made it"!

"Oh course why wouldn't I?" "I told you I'll be here".

"I know" I smiled.

"Anyways I'm going to walk around being around too many people is kind of a annoyance".

"Okay I'll see you around".

I kinda felt lonely I wanted to talk to him at least.

Half time came around and we started heading down to the field, I warmed up with Nat.

"You ready Mel"?

"Yep, you got the music memorized"?

"Hell yea"!

"Good" I gave him a high five.

We got to our position and started to march, I glance at Edd and he was at the fence. I don't know why but I blushed and kinda lost track.

"What are you doing Mel"? Nat asked,

"S-sorry", I don't know what's wrong with me, when we were done I took my hat off and put my snare down. I headed to the bathroom. "What the hell is going on with me"? I looked at myself in the mirror and blushed. "No, no, no, you're not falling for him are you"? I asked myself. I got out the bathroom and saw Edd.

"Oh hey".

"Good performance sweet face" he grins.

"T-thanks".

"I have to go back now".

"Alright, well I only came to see you so I'm leaving".

"Oh really"? "Okay thank you for coming".

"Hey Melody, are you okay"?

He said my name again with that kinda of voice!

"Y-yea don't worry about me"

He comes closer to me, he touches my forehead.

"Hmm you're a little warm, don't overdo yourself".

How can I you're touching me so gentle.

"Eddward I-"

"Mel come on, Mr. Butler wants us back already" Nat shouted.

"Oh okay, we'll see ya Edd". I took off running I can't believe I almost told him!

"Melody"!

I stopped and turned around

"After the game come over".

I blushed, "s-sure".

"Oh Mel, whatcha gonna do"?~

"Shut up".

Nat laughs"anyways we're going to Lucky World it's a amusement park wanna come"?

"Yea"! I smiled.

After the game I went home took my uniform and took a shower. I had put on joggers and a plain t-shirt and went over to Edd's house.

I knocked on the door and he opened it and he was in his pjs and a tank top he didn't have his beanie either.

"Oh hey sweet face do you mind if we stay outside for a while I gotta smoke a cigarette".

"It's cool".

He grabbed a cigarette out of the pack he had in his pocket and lit it up. He inhaled the cigarette and blow out.

"Hey Edd"?

"Hmm"?

"Why do you smoke"?

"Well, it helps me forget the shit I have to deal with".

"Like what"?

He looks at me "don't worry about it".

"I see".

It was silence, I felt kinda bad because I can't help him with his problems he doesn't even trust me enough to tell me.

"Why did you want me over"?

"Just to have company".

"Is that what Jimmy and Johnny are there for"?

"Yea but they're just..."

"Just what"?

"Not you".

My eyes widen "what do you mean"?

"I honestly don't know", he lean closer "it's just something about you".

I blushed and looked away.

"Besides you're the only girl besides Marie I actually want around me".

I glance at him,

"It's crazy because I knew Marie for years and just 2 years ago I cried in front of her".

"Why did you cry"?

He just looks down "I was in a dark place".

"Seems like you had it tough".

"Yea you'll learn to cope with it".

"But you do know no matter what I will always be here I told you once didn't I"?

He smiles "yea".

I stood up, "well then it's late and you need your sleep".

I felt a hand grab my hand, "please don't go".

"Are you not feeling well"?

"It's not that..." He looks up at me and leans up to my face. His lips gets closer to mine, I closed my eyes tight.

I open them and he backs away "never mind goodnight Melody".

"W-wait, Edd"!

"What is it"?

"Uhh me and the gang are going to the amusement park tomorrow wanna come"?

"Sure" he smiles.

"Good, I'll see you tomorrow".

I went to my room and fell on my bed "oh my god was Edd going to kiss me"?

I can't help but feel happy and shock, well better let the gang know he's coming with us tomorrow.
