I was exhausted and the day hasn't even started yet, it was already 7:15 and Nat arrived.

"Good morning best friend"! The green hair boy shouted running down the hall.

"Morning Nat", I said in a scratchy voice.

He noticed something was wrong and ran faster and kneed down "are you okay Mel you sound horrible".

"Wow thanks", I laughed.

"I didn't mean it like that"!

"I was kidding, yea I'm okay just feeling a little bit under the weather". I didn't tell him the whole truth but he shouldn't be worrying at the moment he has a lot going on.

"If you say so, you think you're capable of practice today"?

"I should be fine".

We were outside and the weather was horrible. It was cold, don't get me wrong I love winter but in my condition it made me feel worse. I couldn't concentrate I was off beat and of course everyone noticed, I knew the gang could tell something was wrong with me. After practice was over I was in the locker room brushing my hair I felt like a zombie.

"Hey Melody are you alright"? The blonde hair girl come up to me with a concerned look on her face.

"Yea I am, sorry to make you worry Nazz just a lot of things going on".

"I know honey it's finals week everyone is shitting their pants".

We both laughed and she gave me a hug "I'm here for you whenever you need me".

"I know" I hugged back.

We walked out of the locker room and the gang including Marie were waiting for us, Nazz waved and starting walking with Marie, we also followed.

"Melody are you okay, you look pale". Kevin asked.

"I understand that you're sick but honestly you're not acting your usual self", Nat added.

I knew I couldn't keep this a secret any longer, I pulled both of them to the side.

"I met Jasmine today".

"Jasmine"? Nat question.

"Jasmine Lopez", I answered.

"Edd's ex"?! "Holy shit she's back"! Nat screamed.

"Shhh keep your voice down! "I don't know how to feel honestly I feel irritated", I said frustratingly.

"Why does it matter Melody"? Kevin bluntly question.

"I just don't want her to..." the words I wanted to use won't come out, was I jealous of her and scared she's going to take Edd away from me? "Wait a minute why did I just think of that"? I said to myself. He wasn't mine to begin with so why act if I had every right to get defensive, all this is making my head spin, I put my hands over my eyes and lower my head.

"Melody let me ask you a question, do you like Edd"? Kevin asked bluntly but had a calmly tone to it.

I trembled and looked up at him feeling tears forming in my eyes, "I do very much and it's drive me crazy I don't like this".

Kevin and Nat looked at each other and both leaned on my shoulders.

"What are y'all doing, y'all are heavy".

"Our little Melody is in love~", Nat chanted.

"I'm glad you were able to tell us", Kevin smiled.

I just blushed "come on you guys we're gonna be late for class", I'm actually glad I told them I think I wouldn't be able to cope with these emotions by myself, I'm happy that they are there for me.
