Unexpected || Kimetsu No Gakuen (Giyushino)

It was just another normal day in school for her. Shinobu was walking down the hallway, on her way to her class.

She fiddled in her bag and took out her headphones. She put the music on, then placed the headphones on her head.

While walking to her class, she felt a someone's hand on her shoulder. She turned her head to see a woman taller than her, with purple eyes that became darker on the way up. She had her hair up in a bun, and had a sweet smile on her lips.

"Hello Miss Tamayo! How can i help you?"
Said Shinobu with a smile just as sweet.

Tamayo and Shinobu were very close. Tamayo would teach Shinobu how to create different medicines, and Shinobu would help her gather materials for her medicines.

"Well, i was wondering if you could help me gather some Mizuna later? If you don't have time, it's okay."

Shinobu nodded and Tamayo smiled at her. Tamayo left and Shinobu went to class.
As she entered the room, Kanao greeted her and talked with her for a bit.

She sat down at her desk and removed her headphones, putting them in her bag.

"Don't you notice that our graduation is coming soon, sister?"

"Huh?"

Shinobu didn't realize. Their graduation was in April. She erased the thoughts and nodded.

"Oh. I forgot about that."

Giyuu suddenly entered the room, and everyone flew to their seats. As usual, Giyuu told everyone to change in their P.E Uniform. Everyone went to the field and waited for Giyuu.

Shinobu was making her way to Kanao when Giyuu arrived. She went back to her place as giyuu started class.

It was another workout and game for today, which wasn't that long. It seems like the boys trained, and proved it by beating the girls for today.

Some girls still managed to beat some boys though. Giyuu wrapped the game up for today, and siglaned for everyone to go back to the classroom.

When they got there, Giyuu distributed the worksheets and left. The minute Giyuu left, Kanao leaned over to Shinobu's desk and proceeded to make a conversation.

As they were chatting, the door spun open and Kanao immeadiately went back to her seat.

Kyojuro entered and greeted the class, which they returned. Kyojuro set his things down on the desk and started the lesson.

The lecture was easy, or maybe history had always been easy for Shinobu. Maybe both. Kyojuro finished the lesson, then left the class.

'As usual.' Shinobu said as she looked out the window. The day seemed boring and dull as always.

The door opened, and Shinobu turned her head to the door and greeted her teacher.

Sanemi put his things down on the desk. Everyone immediately took out their notebooks. Sanemi murmured something under his breath, and told everyone that a test is all for today.

The whole class whined. Shinobu, one the other hand, slumped in her seat, knowing that she didn't study. She wondered what wrong thing she had done for this day. 'It isn't my lucky day, isn't it?'

Sanemi handed out the test papers, as everyone took out their test folders. There was a 30-minute timer.

'I guess 30 minutes is enough. Why did this test have to be todayy!!!'

Shinobu took a deep breath and started to read the first question. It was about last week's lesson. She thought about her answer for a second, then wrote it.

After the test, Sanemi mixed the papers up, and distributed them. The students were going to check a random person.

When Shinobu recieved hers, she checked the name and got Kanao. She couldn't tell Kanao just yet though. On the other hand, Kanao also got Shinobu's test paper.

The checking started, and Shinobu was impressed, Kanao got a good mark. Little did she know, Kanao also felt the same way about Shinobu's score.

When the papers were given back to the owner, Shinobu closed her eyes, and finally gathered all her courage. She opened her eyes, revealing that she had gotten only 2 answers wrong.

She remained calm with a smile on her face on the outside, but was jumping in the inside. She was so excited to tell Kanae.

Sanemi had left the class. Shinobu was going to the bathroom. While Shinobu was doing her own business, Uzui had arrived.

The class settled down, and just before class started, Shinobu arrived. She hurried back to her seat, and Uzui started the lesson.

Art had always been easy for Shinobu, so as expected, she sucked the lesson all up easily. Uzui left after the lecture. All the students went to their clans and went to the cafeteria.

Shinobu and Kanao were making their way to the cafeteria when Kanao suddenly said,

"Sister, did you know that Sir Murata allows students to eat in the school garden sometimes?"

Shinobu did an "oh" face. "Would you like to eat lunch there?"

Kanao nodded and they headed to the garden.
On the way, they stumbled upon Giyuu and Kanae.

The two hugged them, and invited them to have lunch with them. Giyuu accepted the offer, but Kanae said that she'd be having lunch with sanemi.

Kanao suddenly grinned. "Oh, and i'm going to have lunch with Tanjiro and the others. Have fun you two!"

Kanao and Kanae left giggling, leaving Shinobu and Giyuu behind. Shinobu looped her arm through Giyuu's as the two of them went to the garden, although Shinobu was practically going to explode.

The two ate lunch with a comfortable silence, then bid goodbye to each other. The minute Shinobu was out of Giyuu's eardrop, she frantically melted.

She quickly made her way to homeroom. She pushed the door and plopped in her seat. Shinobu was planning to go to the bathroom, until Kanae entered the room.

Kanae let her, but told her to not take long. Shinobu did as asked. It was time for Biology class, then Shinobu's last period: Obanai's Chemistry class.

Kanae gave quite a lot of tasks than usual. Normally, she'd give 0-2 tasks but she gave 4. Unusual for the students.

Kanae left as soon as class was done, and in came Obanai, who was already waiting outside earlier. Obanai's lesson wasn't easy, but wasn't as hard either.

When class was done, Obanai dismissed the class and went back to the teacher's lockers to grab his stuff. The students also procedeed packing their things. Everyone went out of the class.

Shinobu had her things all organized and ready, and decided to wait for Kanae to go the classroom. Kanae, on the other hand, was also at the teacher's lockers to get her things. She then made her way to Shinobu's class.

A few minutes passed and Kanae swung open the door. Shinobu turned her head to the door. Kanae gestured for her to come, and Shinobu quickly followed. The two went to the parking lot, and Kanae started the car.

Kanae was just asking Shinobu the usual questions, such as, 'how was your day?' or 'Was class hard?' And other things.

Shinobu just told her about the hard parts of the day, and the easiest things of the day.

The two took a shower in their respective bathrooms, then Shinobu made dinner.

It was 6:00 when the two were ready for bed. Shinobu brushed her teeth, put on her pajamas, and grabbed her phone lightly from the counter.

She fell on her bed, and began to browse on her phone. It took a while before Shinobu yawned and felt sleepy.

She put her phone on the table, then tucked under the blanket. She felt herself feeling sleepier and sleepier. Finally, she managed to sleep away today's exhaustion.
