Chapter 16 - Epilogue

Shinobu sighed as Giyuu curled up into a ball like a child. He had a high fever, and refused to come out of his blanket cocoon.

"Giyuu, curling up into a ball and watching television all day Isn't going to make you feel better. Give me that."

She snatched the blanket and Giyuu came rolling along with it. He pouted. A fake one.

This guy was so difficult.

Shinobu rolled her eyes and went into the kitchen. Minutes later, she came back in with a bowl of hot soup for him.

That finally got him to roll out of his cocoon for a while. She giggled and sat beside him at the bed.

"You know, if you don't want this to happen to you again, don't get wet in the rain!"

She playfully scolded him as he drank from the bowl.

"Well then, don't let me."
He replied with a faint, playful smile.

The two giggled. As Giyuu was finishing his soup, her attention turned to the show he was watching.

"What's so special about this show?"
She asked out of curiosity.

Giyuu shrugged his shoulders. What a weirdo.

Shinobu just took the bowl from him and brought it back to the kitchen. She grabbed the bottle of medicine with a spoon and made her way back to Giyuu's bedroom.

"Don't forget medicine, soup Isn't everything."

Giyuu groaned and curled right back into a cocoon. He peeked from a tiny hole in the blanket.

Shinobu grinned and sat on the bed. She grabbed a pillow nearby and smacked Giyuu with it.

Giyuu gasped and grabbed a pillow and smacked her back.

Shinobu giggled. "Come on, just drink it. It's not so bad. Pretty please?"
She made a fake pout with puppy dog eyes. She knew that was enough.

Giyuu frowned and sat up. He poured some medicine on the spoon and held his nose.

Shinobu sighed.

"What? It's not my fault it smells bad."
Giyuu frowned.

Shinobu made a poker face. He hurriedly swallowed the disgusting medicine.

She clapped and lied down with him in the bed and hugged him.

Giyuu smiled and hugged her back.
"Nobu, do you remember when you were dating your teacher?"

"Do you remember when you dated your student?"
She grinned while Giyuu laughed.

They were now happily married for 3 years. Shinobu wasn't just a nurse at her school now, she was an intern at a huge hospital.

Giyuu remained a teacher. Of course, he wasn't feared or talked about anymore. He was less expressionless and cold now. He even gained an okay friendship with Sanemi and Iguro now.

Point is, neither of the two regretted being together even if it was weird. They never knew it would end up in such a loving relationship.
