Percy's P.O.V.
I could tell that they were not happy with what they had seen in the first memory but they were not going to like what happens next at all. I nodded to Iris to go ahead and show the next memory which she did.
Percy was sitting outside with a couple of his best friends laughing and talking about the most random things.
"My favorite holiday is Christmas," Joshua said. "What's yours Jack?"
"Mine is Easter," Percy replied. "Because it represents the beginning of new life and brings hope to the Children of the world."
"Mine is also Easter, but for the candy." Mary said.
"What do you think would happen if for some reason that there was no more Easter?"
"I think that all children would lose faith in the easter bunny and all of his friends, like Santa and the tooth fairy and Sandman. But I would never stop believing in them, ever."
"Neither will I," Both Mary and Joshua said at the same time.
"Boy if I told you once I told you a thousand times clean this mess up right this minute!" The shouts of Percy's "father" startled the friends making them jump out of their skins.
"I swear that man is the real-life boogie man." Joshua said.
"I agree," Percy said.
"Thar's it," Dad growled out. "I am throwing him into the void."
"Dad please calm down," I said.
"No he harmed you with both words and other things."
"Let's get through the memories before we do anything," Aunt Hestia said. Dad nodded to that. I was scared of what everyone will think of me afterwards.
"Percy how come you never told us that you went through this stuff?" Chiron asked.
"Because I didn't want my mom to get hurt. I was told by that bastard that if I told anyone he would kill my mom," I said tears streaming down my face. Dad pulled me into his lap and cradled me close to his chest and whispered that he would have taken me away from that place if he had known what I had gone through. I held onto him as if he were about to leave me. I soon felt two more pairs of arms wrap around my torso, I looked over and saw that it was my uncles holding me and my dad.
I couldn't help but feel safe in all three of their arms. I felt my dad kiss the crown of my head and tell me that he loves me more than anything.
