Poseidon' P.O.V.

Me and the other gods were at camp half-blood to visit our children. We were in the dining pavilion waiting for our children. Soon most of the children were here and greeted us with smiles on their faces. However, Percy did not show up for breakfast, which concerned me. The others seemed to notice as well. Annabeth, the daughter of Athena approached And asked if I had seen Percy to which I told I have not.

We both went and asked some of his friends to see if they had seen him. They all said that they have not, so me, Annabeth, the rest of the seven, Clarisse, the Stolls, the rest of the gods, Thalia, and Chiron all went looking for him. We soon checked my cabin. I noticed that the couch that was normally over the basement door was out and music was coming from inside.

I slowly walked over the others followed me. When I reached the bottom of the stair way I saw Percy playing the piano that was in the middle of the room and singing. Everyone, but myself, looked stunned at the fact that he could sing, but what caught my attention was that he was crying while doing so.

I silently began to cry from the sound of pain that rang through his voice. I soon felt two pairs of arms wrap around me and I saw my two brothers hugging me. I wiped away my tears right before Percy finished singing, and when he did we all clapped. When he heard us he spun around while uncapping Riptide at the same time. When my son saw us he capped his sword and placed it on the piano. I guess he hadn't realized that I had been about to cry until a tear slid down his face. He wiped it away but I was there in a second holding him to my chest.

"Percy what's wrong?" I asked him.

"Everything dad," Percy told me. I just held him tighter to myself.

"Perseus why were you not at breakfast this morning?" My little brother Zeus asked.

"I was not hungry and wanted to be alone for a while," Percy told him. Zeus just nodded.

"Wow Percy," The son of Hephaestus said. "You usually want food." Percy just sprayed him with water and then frozen him in place. I smiled at this.

"Percy did you have another nightmare?" Annabeth asked my son who just nodded into my chest. "Was it about down there or your home life before here?"

"Life before," Percy mumbled. At this I became concerned as did the other gods.

"What do you guys mean Life before?" One of the Stolls asked, I cannot for the life of figure out which one it was. I looked at my son expectantly for an answer.

"It would be easier for me to show you through an Iris memory." We all nodded at that.

Hestia conjured up some sofas for everyone to sit on. Soon Iris came and through and Iris message we saw a boy who looked about six years old:

"Boy get your ass back here or else I will make your life a living hell." came the voice of Jack's "father".

"Coming," Percy yelled back. When the young boy got to where his "father" was waiting, he was met with a slap to the face. Percy raised a small hand to the check that had been hit while he was trying not to cry.

"You, boy, should have never been born," came the slurred voice of the giant man. "You always ruin everything." By this time Percy had tears streaming down his face.

"I'm sorry, sir." Percy replied gaining him another slap to the face.

"Don't talk back to me young man, do you understand?" By this Percy could only nod because of the pain. "ANSWER ME YOU IDIOT BOY!" Came the angry voice of the man.

"Y-yes s-s-sir." Percy stumbled over his words. This got the man so angry that he started to whip the child. Percy began to cry in pain at the whips sharp sting.

By this time I was seething with anger, but so was everyone else. I could tell that a tornado, a hurricane, and an earthquake was hitting New York all at the same time.

"That fucking pig of a man!!!" Artemis yelled in anger. I could not blame her what so ever on that.

Annabeth was shaking with anger as was Thalia and Jason.

"Where is he?" Clarisse asked.

"Met with Medusas head," Percy replied. I saw Hades smirk as if coming up with a perfect punishment for the mortal.

"Uncle hades after we finish the memories can I help you figure out a punishment for that bastard?" Percy asked. I was stunned.

"Of course Nephew." Hades said with a smile in his face liking the idea of having someone help him with tortures. I was terrified of what they might come up with but Tartarus would seem like paradise compared to what those two might come up with.
