Percy's P.O.V

The next memory came up and I curled up in my uncle Hades side. He looked down at me as if wondering what this memory would entail, but I said nothing.

Percy Jackson, a young boy in fifth grade, experienced the harsh reality of bullying from his classmates. Despite the torment he endured, it seemed as though no one around him noticed the pain he was going through.

In the midst of his daily school routine, Percy found himself targeted by his classmates. Whether it was verbal taunting, physical aggression, or exclusion from social activities, the bullying persisted relentlessly. Each day, he faced a barrage of insults and cruel remarks, leaving him feeling isolated and helpless.

Despite the visible signs of distress that Percy exhibited, his classmates and even the teachers seemed oblivious to his suffering. It was as if his pain went unnoticed, overshadowed by the noise and chaos of the school environment. The silence surrounding his struggles only amplified his feelings of loneliness and despair.

Percy's attempts to seek help or share his experiences were met with indifference or dismissal. His pleas for intervention fell on deaf ears, leaving him to face the daily onslaught of bullying on his own. The lack of support from his peers and authority figures only deepened his sense of isolation and made him question his self-worth.

As Percy endured the relentless bullying, he sought solace in the pages of books. In the stories he read, he found inspiration and courage to face his tormentors. These tales of heroes overcoming adversity became his source of strength, reminding him that he too had the power within him to rise above his circumstances.

Despite the pain he endured, Percy's resilience and determination began to shine through. He refused to let the bullies define him or dictate his worth. Slowly but surely, he found his voice and the courage to stand up for himself.

Over time, Percy's strength and resilience caught the attention of those around him. As his classmates and teachers began to take notice of his transformation, the veil of indifference began to lift. The realization of the pain he had silently endured for so long finally started to resonate with others.

In witnessing Percy's journey, people began to recognize the importance of empathy and supporting those who may be silently suffering. His story became a catalyst for change, prompting conversations about bullying and the impact it can have on a person's well-being.

I saw my dad shaking in fury. As was everyone else. I could not look them in the eyes. I felt weak. Hades pulled me into his side.
