Poseidon's P.O.V.

My baby boy was hurt and I was beyond pissed off. I could see that Percy hand buried his face into Hades' chest trying not to cry. The look on Hades face right now indicated that he was about to go to the underworld and kill that man over and over again.

"There is a little bit more that you need to see," Iris said in a soft voice.

"Please show us," Hestia my loving sister said. Iris nodded and a new memory showed up. One that almost made me throw up.

Percy, an 11-year-old boy, returns home one day to an unexpected and unsettling sight. As he enters the house, he discovers his step-father in the company of a prostitute. The encounter leaves Percy feeling confused, shocked, and unsure of how to react.

This moment becomes a turning point in Percy's young life. He is confronted with the harsh realities of the adult world, ones that he is not yet ready to fully comprehend. The innocence of his childhood is abruptly shattered, and he is forced to grapple with emotions and questions beyond his years.

Percy's initial reaction is a mix of fear and disbelief. He retreats to his room, trying to process what he has just witnessed. Conflicting thoughts flood his mind, as he struggles to come to terms with the situation. He wonders if he should confront his step-father, tell his mother, or keep it a secret.

As the days go by, Percy becomes more withdrawn and distant. The weight of his secret burdens him, and he finds it difficult to focus on school or enjoy his usual activities. The image of his step-father's indiscretion haunts him, and he feels a sense of betrayal and confusion.

Percy's relationship with his step-father becomes strained. The trust he once had is shattered, and he begins to question the authenticity of their bond. He finds solace in confiding in a close friend, who offers a listening ear and support during this difficult time.

Over time, Percy musters the courage to approach his mother and reveal what he witnessed. The conversation is both painful and cathartic, as the truth comes to light. The family is forced to confront the infidelity and its consequences, leading to difficult decisions and changes within their dynamic.

Through this experience, Percy learns valuable lessons about trust, honesty, and resilience. He realizes that life can be unpredictable and challenging, but it is important to face adversity head-on. Despite the difficult circumstances, Percy's strength and determination help him navigate through this challenging chapter of his life.

As Percy grows older, he carries the scars of this experience with him, but also the lessons learned. It shapes his understanding of relationships, loyalty, and the complexity of human nature. While the memory of that fateful day will always be a part of him, Percy finds solace in his ability to overcome adversity and find his own path in life.

I growled in pure anger. I could tell that all of his friends were ready to kill that man. Hades just pulled Percy closer to him trying to make sure that his baby was safe in his arms. Zeus was about to summon the step-father for a council meeting to sentence his soul but stopped himself from doing so to protect Percy.
