Y/N was tired...So very very tired as she laid in her room with Momo sleeping soundly on her stomach...She still couldn't get over the fear from what Childe had said before...this wasn't Rex Lapis' city...it was his....She knew it to be true at this point and began wishing she left with Aether, taking Momo with her to the city of Freedom...but would she of even been safe there?..She didn't know.. With a sigh she slowly sat up and placed Momo in the crib so that she could move without disturbing the baby.
"Xiao...what do I do?" Y/N asked as the air blew in from behind her, Xiao appearing next to her with a small frown on his expression.
"I do not know. But our lord is hiding you from the Fatui as best as he can... just stay here until the situation is handled..."
"But how long will that be?? Days?? Weeks? Months??? Years?? It's fine if I'm trapped away... but Momo doesn't deserve that...she deserves to make friends with other kids...to eventually grow up and find love of her own..." Y/N said while she sighed and covered her face with her hands.
"When did I become so weak..? I was the Mother of Death...the forbidden 12th fatui harbinger...now look at me...a locked up mother who's doing everything she can to just barely survive and protect her daughter....." She continued before leaning against Xiao's shoulder with a huff, Xiao on the other hand kept his eyes on Momo and then at Y/n with a conflicting expression, even he was at a loss of how to comfort Y/N....he slowly gripped at his own chest and frowned at the sensation he was feeling within his chest, Disappointment? no....frustration? that sounds more like it...he felt frustrated that Childe has done what he did and inflicted such despair and fear upon Y/N.
"Y/N....I will go out and get our work done for today...so that we may spend...the evening together...you, myself and Momo if you wish?" Xiao asked, This made Y/n look over at him with a weak smile and a small nod of her head.
"That sounds like a wonderful plan.". She said, making Xiao sigh with relief internally, with that he wrapped an arm over her shoulders to pull her into a brief side hug with a gentle hum.
"I'll be back in a few hours..." He said as he vanished, leaving Anemo particles behind....Which left Y/N to tend to Momo and herself. She knew though that she'd need to go shopping soon....maybe going out for a few minutes to gather some supplies wouldn't hurt right?...

Y/N wandered the market place with Momo in her arms, she had her hair pulled up in a bun and even had some glasses along with a different outfit on (your choice go nuts fam) just to make sure Childe and the Fatui couldn't recognize you right off the bat...hopefully not at all...
As She walked through the market place, she gathered up food and cleaning supplies and made sure to keep an eye on Momo, making sure the little one didn't get too fussy in the sunlight. Y/N was so busy with the market place that she didn't realize that she was walking straight towards someone until she slammed into their back with her head, making her grunt loudly before backing up to bow.
"I apologize, I was not paying attention...." Y/N stopped as she glanced up and her eyes locked with familiar electrified purple eyes and a large rimmed hat...oh fuck.....The balladeer......wait...Scara!!
"Lord Scara...??" Y/N asked with wide eyes as the man glared at her with a pissed off expression before he took a closer look at her face.
"Well well well....Mother of death~ you're a hard woman to catch, even while you were pregnant...not that I personally approved of who you were matched with...." Scara scoffed out as he looked at his nails in a bored expression.
"How is the Ginger fool? I haven't seen him in quite some time...". He asked, making Y/N widen her eyes, he doesn't know she betrayed the Fatui?? no...he has to know but just...doesn't care? Either way this was perfect! She now had the perfect place to hide!
"Lord Scara...I am avoiding Childe...but..I need your help, and I will do anything to get you to help me out!" She said, making Scara look at her with a bored but slightly confused expression on his face.
"You? need my help? What could you possibly need from—". He stopped when Y/N showed Momo to him while huffing.
"This is my daughter! Her name is Momo and I am NOT allowing Childe to be her father! Don't you want to have a chance to FINALLY get back at him for all the times he's ever irritated, annoyed or just out right enraged you??? I know you have a Manor here in Liyue and it's the perfect place to hide from him! please!". Y/N begged while Momo blinked and giggled loudly when she saw Scara's confused expression morph into an strange new expression...he looked like he was lost in his own thoughts, possibly remembering something before he sighed and nodded his head.
"Alright alright fine...but ONLY because it's going to piss off Childe..." He said as he looped one of his arms around y/n's arm and pulled her along while holding his hat down to hide his and y/n's face. This was perfect, hiding from the Fatui, WITH one of the other harbingers, the craziest one no less was the perfect place to escape from Childe...not even his forces would dare to go against Scara without paying with their lives...Now y/n knew for certain that Momo would be safe...especially since Scara didn't even stick his nose up to Momo or the situation.
