The next morning in Adventure Bay...
As always, the pups woke up from their snooze, but without Chase calling them this time.
Rocky yawned, as he walked towards the lookout for breakfast again. He then saw Chase's, Marshall's, and Skye's puphouse were empty. He sighed.
"Seems like they've yet returned." He then heard Zuma's voice from behind. He turned around as he saw Zuma walking to him.
"Yeah." Rocky replied. "Bet they went to Steve's planet for a whole day of training. I'm not used to wake up without Chase's calls."
"But you still woke up." Zuma chuckled. "I guess Chase really did affect your sleep that much."
"He's giving me the 'wake-up call' vibes." Rocky replied. They then headed to the lookout together.
Once they arrived, they were surprised to find out that Rubble and Coral got there first before them.
Rubble smirked and asked: "Hey guys, what took you so long?"
"So long??" Rocky responded. "You pups were just too early."
"Early for breakfast." Rubble uttered, then munched on the pup treats in his food bowl. "...I ain't gonna miss every single one of them!"
The pups then laughed upon seeing Rubble's silliness, then ate their food...
...
An explosion was set out...
Chase rushed over to Marshall at lightning speed, as Marshall fired rapid water blasts at him.
Chase simply dashed sideways while dodging the water blasts. When he got closer to Marshall, he threw a lightning punch at him...
Marshall smirked and threw back a fire punch, blocking it. He then sent Chase backwards with a little force added to his paw.
But as distracted as he was, he got hit by several wind blasts, which came upon the sky without him noticing at all. The blasts covered him with an explosion.
As Skye was too focused on attacking Marshall, she didn't realise Chase in the distance. Chase quickly took the opportunity and hit her with a sonic bark in midair.
With a wave of Marshall's paw, he cleared the smoke beside him.
"Heh." Marshall grinned. "I guess it's time we end this!!"
"Agreed." Skye replied, then prepared a massive whirlwind sphere above her, with the size of a gigantic meteor.
Chase did the same, as he focused all of his lightning energy on his paw, attempting to launch a huge aggressive lightning bolt. Marshall was also seen charging up a blue energy beam.
"Wait, you guys-" Steve shouted.
The trio fired their attacks at the same time, as their attacks then clashed on the middle for a while, finally letting out a nuke explosion.
Steve swiftly covered himself, along with his whole cabin with a forcefield, trying to shield them from the incoming explosion...
..
A while later, the huge smoke dissipated. Marshall collapsed on the ground, then heaved a sigh of relief.
Strangely, all of them then laughed, even after witnessing that incident that happened just now.
"That was intense!!" Chase said.
"We should try that out sometime!" Skye added, then giggled.
"Of course!" Marshall said.
