Chapter 3: Experiment

In outer space...

An unknown red planet resides near planet Uranus. The red planet, seemingly as big as planet Earth itself. The size between the two planets appeared to be the same, but apparently it was completely the opposite in the inside world.

Unlike Earth, it doesn't have trees, and it seemed like a piece of empty land, with only mountains and hills and ground erosions. The rivers were all filled with deadly hot lava, while the sky completely dark red, with red flashing thunderstorms. Black clouds were also seen enveloping the atmosphere.

There came across a strange castle, which appeared to be a mysterious and gigantic castle. The fact that this castle was so much more bigger than any normal castle would, even bigger than Barkingburg's.

About this castle, no one knew anything about it, and nobody would even wanted to talk about it...

Inside the throne room of the castle, a shiny, magical red emerald was seen floating on a strange pillar, which was in front of the throne. It's gleam spread across the whole room, emitting it with bright, scarlet rays, which seemed like no ordinary stone.

At the throne, a shadowy figure who was sitting at it, was seen watching at the emerald. His smile widened.

Then...

Two shadow figures entered in the throne room. Once their presence revealed, they were aliens, who tend to be in their battle suits.

They slowly walked towards their leader, who was seen waiting for them in the throne room.

The shadow figure who was sitting on the throne, saw their appearances, and slowly stood up from the throne. He then walked towards them.

"So, how's it going?"

Once the shadow figure approached in front of them, he asked them.

"So far so good, boss."

"In fact, we've finished all the preparations for battle."

The emerald began glowing even brighter than usual.

"Excellent." The shadow around the tall figure started to fade off, revealing himself as an old black alien dog. His eyes were black while his pupils were grey, while his fur around his body were all black and a little greyish. His tail was long, seemed like a demonic tail.

In comparison, his appearance which resembles Rover a lot, excluding his height and his age.

"Sadly, the power of this emerald that I created wasn't fully charged yet. It still needs more energy so that I can have enough power to dominate everything." He said. "It's still a work in progress, but I bet this'll make things even more interesting."

"This emerald..." He then grabbed the emerald away from the pillar. Once he loosened his grip on the emerald, it began floating on his paw. "It's known as the Supreme Emerald. This emerald grants the ability to do the unimaginable, like having the power to warp space and time and can also manipulate almost anything across the whole cosmos."

"This emerald...of yours, that's truly something..." One of the figures said.

"Fascinating, isn't it?" He said, then put the emerald back onto the pillar again. "I just needed some time for it to gather enough cosmic energy, which is the energy from space."

"How does it absorb energy, again?" The other figure asked.

"It basically drains everything that's in space, that is. All of the elements from each planet and stars...nebulas and galaxies, all of them will form into small particles and they'll all be slowly drained into this emerald." He replied. "And when it's fully charged, it'll be unstoppable."

"Though..." He added. "Not anyone could wield this emerald easily. Because of it's immense power, it'll be too much for their body could possibly handle. But for me, I already know that."

"In fact, we're actually grateful that we've been revived."

One of the figures said: "Of course, thanks to him, we escaped death from the hands of your son."

"As expected of that." He grinned, then turned over to his throne. "They didn't know that our existence still remains, despite even after that war. That moment when he liberated all of us out of that previous creation of mine...that led me to a second chance to continue my plans."

"And what he did to us was just a stepping stone upon our road to success." He said. "He may failed to get the universe, but it was worth a shot anyway. Thanks to him, which he reminded me about him, that there's always him willingly to protect the whole universe. All that I least know is taking this universe won't be easy with him around."

"So...what's your next plan, Master Argon...?" One of the figures asked.

"Send our soldiers to eradicate those unnecessary planets and those stupid creatures." Argon replied. "But leave Earth for last. Rushing right now would be a big mistake."

"As you command, master." The figures said and then left the throne room, leaving Argon alone.

"That's right." He muttered to himself. "He definitely got what he deserved."

Then he looked at the emerald again. It was now glowing even brighter than before, as its energy were to increase even more. He slowly grinned wickedly.

"And soon...I'll be the one in charge of this whole universe. I'll show everyone how it's done."

"And I'll show you how it's properly done. I'll fix everything you once did before."

"And that is that..."

"Phase Two will soon begin."
