Argon was still sitting on the throne, waiting patiently for good results to happen. Most of the time he was spent watching at his precious scarlet emerald right in front of him, which was still building up more and more energy. The more shinier it becomes, the more power it achieves, the wider the smile painting on his face.
His ears flickered, as he heard footsteps coming by towards the throne room. He then opened his eyes and looked ahead of him, which he saw his two loyal soldiers walking straight to him.
"It's about time." Argon said. "I've been waiting for like a few hours. How are the results going?"
"Working well so far, boss." One of them replied. "Truth is, our development is working so exponentially! Nothing's going on."
The other one added: "And most of all, all of the planets we've encountered were all conquered. We even absorbed all the mortals' life energies we confronted. No one stands a chance against us!"
"Good job, and I shall use those life energy from those mortals to give an extra replenishment boost on this emerald, and it'll be even more powerful than ever, which makes it much more easier to control the entire universe!" Argon smirked. "But the only problem is, it still needs more time to charge in order for me to utilize it's full potential."
"Hmm..." Argon looked at them again and asked: "...So, what other planets that you haven't keep in check for?"
"The solar system planets were the only remaining left." One of them replied again. "The others were all in our control."
"...Alright then." Argon stood up from his throne. "Guess it's time."
"...For what?" They asked.
"...Time to invade the remaining planets." He glanced at them. "We'll be attacking planet Earth, and the rest of the solar system planets in one go."
They immediately gasped when they heard his response. They were found out surprised and shocked at the same time, when they heard his declaration of war towards the planets, especially Earth. Of course, they knew that planet Earth's one of the planets that's a major threat to them, but they also didn't expect that their leader would suddenly make a decision like that.
"S-Seriously boss...? Right at this time?" They asked. "Didn't you say that Earth is too hard for us to handle with, which you decided to save it for last?"
"It's true, I did say that." Argon replied. "But don't worry about it for now, I believe our overall strength is probably enough to defeat him. Plus there's a bunch of valuable human creatures that we could gain advantage of...their life energies were quite spectacular, among the living beings in the universe. Their energies will be counted as extra fuel for my Supreme Emerald."
"Actually, boss..." One of the soldiers spoke. "I've heard rumours about that planet that there lived a bunch of supernatural living beings...those beings that held superpowers from a weird space rock."
"...Supernatural beings? Coming from a magical space rock or something?" This seemed like it gained Argon's interest, as he turned over and questioned him. "Tell me more?"
"Do you remember your son, boss?" The soldier asked. "That son of yours that did a mass extermination across the whole universe, with that purple eye you created?"
"Ohh, I get it." He soon realised by what he meant. "Rover. I know him." He then turned back to his throne.
"Those 'supernatural beings' you meant were the ones that stopped his rampage, and freed all of our souls from his control, back in planet Earth?" He laughed. "I already know that since that happened, it's already been a month...and I'll hardly forget about that."
