SIMON HURRY!!!" yelled Isabelle hiding in a alley way behind Taki's. They were running from some demon. They had no idea what type of demon it was, all they knew was it was huge.

SImon was still new at demon hunting. So they had to make sure he was protected and safe. Well as safe as they could get on a demon hunt. Last time they went hunting with Simon a demon nearly killed him. It had draged him into a alley and nearly bit him. Isabelle had killed it before he could.

" ISABELLE WHERE ARE YOU?!" screamed Simon. His voice was laced with panic. must be because he couldn't find her. She stuck her head out from behind a few trash cans she had hid behind.

" SIMON OVER HERE!!" yelled Isabelle. Simon's back was to her. When he heard her he jumped and fliped around towards her. Panic cover the features of his face. Relife filled his face as he saw her. He looked back at the entrance to the alley. But he backed up and ran towards Isabelle.

Isabelle looked behind Simon, her eyes went wide. There was a huge demon behind him catching up fast. Jace was running right behind it with his Parabatai on the other side. Clary was right behind Jace. The demon was nearly at Simon. Panic filled Isabelle.

" SIMON BEHIND YOU!!" yelled Isabelle, but it was to late. The demon struck with a huge arm. It connected hard with Simon's side and sent him flying. He cried out as he hit the stone wall of the alley hard enough to crack it. He fell to the ground limp and not moving.

The demon was soon over him and around to bite him when it suddenly fliped around. Isabelle hadn't realized she had screamed Simon's name. It was looking at her.

Her eyes were wide and all she could do was stare at it. Then it took off for her, but it only got a couple feet before Jace and Alec were on it. " RUN IZZY HURRY!!" yelled Alec. He was hanging on the arm that was swinging all over the place.

She was about to reply when the arm swung and slamed Alec into the wall so hard he let go and fell. He struggled to stand back up but managed it. Jace looked angry. Alec was standing but Isabelle could tell that hit hurt him. He did a good job at not showing it.

" ALEC HIT IT FROM THE LEFT, I GOT THE RIGHT GO GO GO!!" yelled Jace. They ran at it at the same time. The demon struck Jace this time and sent him flying, but just as soon as it hit him it screeched and turned towards Alec who's blade was lodged deep into into it.

Fear crossed Alec's face as he struggled to pull out his blade. But by the time he got it free it was to late. The demons arm hit Alec hard into a wall. Alec nearly cried out. The second he hit the ground he was back on his feet. Isabelle thanked the years of training they had for this.

She loked back towards where Simon was only to see he was gone. Isabelle looked back to see Clary on the ground. Isabelle ran out from behind the trash cans and ran at the demon with a blade in one hand and her whip in the other. She swung the whip around and tied it around the demond arm and pulled tight.

The demons arm fell to the ground. The demon screeched. The arm was moving around. " GREAT JOB ISABELLE!! NOW GO FOR THE HEAD!!" yelled Jace. Good he was ok. If he wasn't he wouldn't be up.

Alec and Jace tried charging it at the same time again. Isabelle didn't understand why. It failed the last time. But this time it struck Alec first and sent him yet again into the wall. And this time he didn't get back up. Jace was soon right by Isabelle. " Man this demons strong." says Jace.

All Isabelle could do was nod in agreement. Then before the demon could attack again four arrows were lodged in its throat. It screeched and started to fall. Then someone was on it stabing his blade multible times into the demons neck head and body. But this demon died differently. It shrunk in the exploded sending everyone back. But sent the other guy high into the air. As he fell Jace ran and caught him before he hit the ground and set him on his feet.

It was Simon. He was coated in sweat and exploded demon. Simon was swatting at his arm." GAH this stuff is gross." says Simon. Dirty or not Isabelle tackled him in a huge hug. " Simon I'm so glad your ok." says Isabelle.

Simon laughed. " Well of course I'm ok. But what about Alec?" says Simon.

Isabelle gasped and looked at the wall Alec was at. And there he was. He was laying on his side limp. His eyes were closed. And his face was cringed up in pain. Isabelle ran to him and placed her hand on his shoulded. He jerked his shoulder back and hissed in pain.

" Clary I need a strong healing rune." says Isabelle. Clary nodded and ran over. Jace's job was to keep his Parabatai calm as they rolled up his sleeve and drew a healing rune. Then checked the rest of his body for injuries. " Guys I'm ok it was just the shoulder." says Alec opening his eyes.

He slowly sat up wincing as he did. " You sure cause your wincing and you never wince." says Isabelle. Alec sighed. " Yes I'm sure. Just a bit sore from hiting the wall three times." says Alec standing uo with Jace's help.

Isabelle smiled and punched his arm hard enough to make him stumble. " Good cause you had me worried." says Isabelle. Alec smiled at her concern.

Jace walked up to Simon and smiled. " Good job killing that demon Simon." says Jace. Simon's smiled. " Really?" says Simon.

" Yes Simon you did a amazing job." says Jace.

" He's right you did great." says Clary.

Simon grined wide. " Come on lets get to the institue to get cleaned up and rest." says Isabelle. They nodded and together all the tierd Shadowhunters walked back together.
