A Mortal Instruments Alphabet. L-Laughter.

Alec was on his way home from the store. He had gone to get something for dinner. Magnus didn't know where he had gone.

He hadn't told Magnus cause if he had Magnus would freak about it. Not it a bad way more in a bugging way, and Alec did not want to deal with that till he had the food cooked.

He was going to be cooking for everyone. It had been a very busy week. So Alec thought thee would do something nice for the family and make dinner for them.

He was soon at the Institute and walked into the kitchen and started to set everything up. He set a pot on the stove and poured some water into it for rice. The second he started it Jace walked into the room slowly and spotted Alec and smiled.

He slowly walked up behind Alec not making a sound. Then out of nowhere he screamed right next to Alec scaring the crap out of him.

Alec jumped and stumbled not realizing his hand had entered the small fire on the stove. But he did notice a few seconds later and yanked his burnt hand out. It was really red with a blister or two. Alec held his hand and let out a small cry of pain.

He saw Jace laughing his head off in the back of the room watching Alec. " DANG IT JACE WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH YOU!!!!!!" yelled Alec looking at Jace in anger.

Jace only laughed harder. " Your going to pay for this Jace." says Alec..

Jace just continued to laugh as he walked towards the door. " Oh I'm so scared of a guy who can't cook like his sister." says Jace.

" Hey I can cook. Isabelle is the one who can't remember." says Alec.

" Whatever. See you later Lightwood." says Jace. And with that he walked out of the room and left.

The second he left Magnus walked in. Magnus smiled as he saw Alec turning on the burner. " Oh so your cooking?" says Magnus.

Alec nodded and nearly dropped the other pot because of his burnt hand. Magnus noticed and walked up. He took Alec's hurt hand gently and concentrated as he healed him. Alec smiled. " Thanks Magnus." says Alec.

" Anytime Alexander."says magnus. He let go of Alec's hand and started grabbing the pot. " What are you doing?" says Alec.

" Why I'm helping you of course. You know so you don't burn yourself again." says Magnus.

" Hey it wasn't my fault. Jace snuck up behind me and scared me when my hand was by the fire." says Alec.

Magnus looked at Alec. " They we must get back at him. " says Magnus. Then he turned around and started working. " But I'm still helping you."

Alec sighed and started cooking with magnus and soon enough they were sitting down eating the meal they had made.

" Hey this is good. Who knew you could cook Alec?" says Jace while eatinng.

" I did after youu burnt my hand." says Alec.

' Oh come on  now Alec. Your not still mad about that are you?" says Jace.

While they were arguing Magnus was sneaking up behind Jace with a full grown duck. Isabelle saw along with Simon. it took all they had not to laugh.

" Would you feel better if I said I'm sorry?' says Jace.

But before Alec could respond Magnus dropped the duck onto Jace's plate. When Jace saw his eyes went wide and he screamed jumping back in his chair. His chair tipped  over and fell backwards. Jace scrambled too his feet and backed away as fast as he could bringing out his sword.

" What Jace you don't like ducks?" says Alec laughing as hard as he couud. Everyone's laughter filled the room.

Jace growled inn anger after Magnus picked it up and got rid of it. Then Jace relaxed. " That was pay back for scaring you wasn't it?" says Jace.

Alec was still laughing. " Yes and it was so worth it." says Alec.

Jace sighed and picked up his chair and sat back down but saw feathers in his food. Jace groaned. " Great now I got to get more food. Thanks a lot." says Jace getting up to get more.

After he said that the entire room burst into yet another fit of laughter. " You were right Alec. That was worth it. " says Clary.

After a while Jace sat back down and the Shadowhunters and Warlock enjoyed the rest of their meal. All laughing and cracking jokes. It was a perfect night.

Hi to all. Sorry I didn't post anything yesterday. It was my birthday yesterday so it was pretty busy. But I hope you liked this one shot and I will Hopefully have another posted by tomorrow night.
